i was wondering the same thing.. if it is wat book i wanna read it :D

the book is by Rajinder Singh Bedi titled Ek Chadar Mailli Si written in Urdu and the English translation is I Take This Woman. I think only the deeyarvattu aspect is the only similarity between the book and the show. Hope that helps! :)
