For some reason unknown, they had to part,
Oh, though for decades, they've been apart,
She's still the woman who rules his heart.

Though downing in bottle his care, he's still smart,
Knows that a hangover makes, to the day, a lousy start.
'Tis his rule never to to let the "High" from him depart,
And, for this, he has perfected drinking down to an art.
