Yes, it would be very difficult to change courses midway. Its possible sometimes to change course from the science stream to other but vice versa would be very difficult. However the choices are getting wider with interdisciplinary subjects coming up.Originally posted by: *Woh Ajnabee*
Yes, Angie! I prefer the comprehensive education in the U.S. because it allows you to explore different avenues before deciding what career you want to pursue. Even if you decide wrong, you still have the option of going back and changing your mind (although of course time and money will be wasted/spent). However, with deciding at the age of 14 or 15 what career you want to pursue, there is no going back (from what I understand).
