Just three days before the swinging 70s hit India, making him India's 'first superstar', Rajesh Khanna celebrated his 27th birthday at Bombay's (Now Mumbai) Hotel Ambassador. Since everybody in the picture was obviously posing for the photo-op, they look quite disconnected with each other. While Mr GP Sippy must be the only person speaking to the birthday boy, Mala Sinha, Rajendra Kumar and even Manu Narang (with an arm around Dharmendra) seem to be happy in their own thoughts.
