Written Update May 16, 2011

Jamna visits Reva's in-laws place and praises the food. She acts worried and Gulaal's mother asks what the problem is. Jamna tells her that both their problems are the same, nobody else thinks of their son and daughter other than both mothers, Dushyant is an outsider despite being from their family while Gulaal is in an outsider's family (she uses a play of words here). Gulaal's mother says that everyone loves Gulaal a lot. Jamna tells her that despite that family Raman was sent to prison and Dushyant is a bachelor, both are sons of that family and if they can go through this then what about Gulaal who is an outsider, what if tomorrow Kesar denies their relationship. Gulaal's mother tells her Kesar listens to Gulaal a lot, Jamna says that Kesar listens to Talli as well who is of his age-group and obviously he will lean more towards Talli. Gulaal's mother still supports Kesar. Jamna says fine Gulaal's mother maybe correct but it is their job to bring Kesar and Gulaal together and that will only happen if Talli stays away from Kesar. Jamna tells her that she (Jamna) stays in the house and sees Talli follow Kesar everywhere all day and Gulaal doesn't say anything. Gulaal's mother flashbacks to Talli going with Kesar on his bike. Jamna says that if in this situation Kesar is inclined towards Talli then it is not Gulaal's fault. Reva comes there with tea and Jamna praises Reva saying that Reva's happiness comes out in her work and food, she looks at Gulaal's mother and tells her that for a woman a husband's love and his family's affection mean the entire world to her. (Jamna knows how to talk really well and get her way, she was so smart about relating to Gulaal's mother and reaching out to motherhood to get her point across. If only she controlled her anger at home, she would get her way with everyone). Gulaal's mother looks very worried and upset.

Dushyant is at the factory lost in thoughts. Kesar is writing something, Talli asks him a question and he ignores her, she stands near him (on his head almost) yelling her questions a few times, he continues to ignore (by now I would have put ear buds or something praying I would not hear Talli's annoying voice). She pulls his hand and yells Kesar, he asks her why she is shouting, Talli tells him that the women want to ask a question. Dushyant gives Talli a list with everything written that would answer the women's questions. Kesar reads it out to them. Talli continues to stand on his head, he asks her if she is going to stand there all day. Talli is outside and yells "Oh my God". Kesar runs outside. Talli has clothing in her hands and says that it is so beautiful that whoever wears it will feel very lucky. Kesar appreciates it as well. The women tell him to take it for someone special, he refuses, the women repeat it, Kesar agrees to take it. The women tell Talli that she will get this gift from someone special so she should keep it aside, Talli is happy.

Gulaal goes to Kesar's room and sees everything scattered and messy, and starts arranging. While making his bed she sees a photo on his bedside of Kesar and Vasant on a camel and smiles. She continues making the bed and sees the letter that Kesar hid from her that he had written but not posted. She sees her name but Kesar snatches it from her hand. She says her name was written on it so it is hers. He puts it in his pocket. She asks him why he did not send it if he wrote to her. He says he wrote it on her birthday and forgot to send. She says he wrote it and saved it for so many years, he asks how she knows the letter is many years old, she says from his handwriting which was different back then. She asks him to read what is in there if he won't let her read it. He evades the topic. She asks him if he was so angry with her, he looks at her sternly with a lot of pain and anger and tears in his eyes saying that for 10 full years she kept him away from her, 10 long years. Gulaal looks at him and is pained at his expression and hurt, he tries to control his tears and leaves the room in anger and pain, Gulaal looks on in shock with tears in her eyes. (I love Kesar).

Sudha tells Gulaal that Talli will only wear clothes that Kesar will like. Talli comes there and wears a scarf (dupatta) and tells Sudha that Kesar will gift it to her, it was in his room, Talli could not wait and wanted to show it to them. She tells Gulaal that now she knows how much Kesar likes her (Talli).

Mota Bha is in his room lost in thoughts, and flashbacks to Gulaal's words when she shared her thoughts about her deeyarvattu and her desire to marry Talli to Kesar, and his question to her asking whether she has any plans for herself. He then thinks about Gulaal's mother's words that she trusts that they will give Gulaal her right to happiness. Dushyant comes there and tells Mota Bha that he is worried that after earning a good reputation all these years something may go wrong to ruin it. Mota Bha asks him if Kesar did anything, he says that he is tired and will be fine after a good night's rest. Dushyant tells him that he has made so many mistakes in the past unknowingly, and in future he may make mistakes, if any time Mota Bha comes to know of Dushyant's mistakes he should at least give him a chance to justify himself. Mota Bha looks surprised as if he doesn't know what Dushyant is talking about.

Precap: Kesar tells Gulaal on the terrace that he was searching for her everywhere, he bought a gift for her. She smiles, he gives her the clothing that Talli showed Sudha and Gulaal, and Gulaal's smiles fades on seeing it, Kesar looks on expectantly to see whether Gulaal will like it.
