I absolutely loved the apple game they had in the show! lol
I'm really not familiar with after wedding games, I might have to consult google

I' m not sure if this game is only played in our house..or if its a common thing, but we have the kheer/or any sweet khilana rasam.. .. where the bhabi of the groom holds the brides hand with something sweet in the brides palm, and the groom has to eat it off her hand without using his hands πŸ˜‰

ohhh... according to google, there's this game, where the bridesmaid and bride make an imprint of their lips (from their lipstick) on a paper by kissing it..and the groom as to guess which one is his brides'! ...maybe you can brainstorm from there... like how maan focuses on Geets lips...and oh you can change the game a little bit..like if he guesses correct she has to give him a kiss πŸ˜..lol I'm done now :P Edited by arabianpaki - 12 years ago

Happiness...

Happiness isn't a feeling or an emotion
It's a state of being,
It's not triggered by what you say to me
Or what you do to me
Not triggered by a man or other worldly affairs.
They certainly maybe added variables in my happiness
But at times when those factors don't add,
They introduce an emotion… sadness, frustration, anger, bitterness
But those are just emotions, they come and leave
I won't let them be anything more than a feeling.
So you see, my happiness may increase, but never, ever decrease
I'll always be happy no matter what happens,
As long as I believe in the Lord above,
Happiness forever will remain
And no one can tell me otherwise.

I have again taken the privilege of posting such an optimistic thought that my dearest friend shared with me...I hope I get good response from my readers to share with the dear one...

I like this. So sweet.

As I go through all kinds of feelings and experiences in my journey through life -- delight, surprise, chagrin, dismay -- I hold this question as a guiding light: "What do I really need right now to be happy?" What I come to over and over again is that only qualities as vast and deep as love, connection and kindness will really make me happy in any sort of enduring way.

This is so true nowadays. People are so caught up in having this and that, that they often forget what actually makes happiness last. Yes that new purse is totally going to make you ecstatic for the first few hours or days but in the long run will it truly provide you with long term happiness.
I think of happiness as being a process that's achieved when one is finally content with what they have in their present life at that time and moment.
