ARJUN POV:
She came down the stairs and hugged my mom and dad.
"arjun drop Arohi off home"
"yeah sure dad"
I walked up to her and said, I told her coldly, "Lets go, I'll take you home."
It was raining and she was shivering. She looked weak and fragile in the harsh rain, wearing not enough to keep her warm.
She did not open up her umbrella; I knew she wanted to share mine.
I said, "Open up your umbrella, let's go."
Unwillingly, she opened up her umbrella and walked with me to the car. I said I
hadn't eat lunch or dinner and asked if we could stop at some place to eat.
We stopped at a coffee shop.
We sat down and ordered our food.
"So what the plan? When you return to Delhi."
"Well I am going to start studying to become a psychiatrist."
"Wow, I mean cool, enjoy and the best of luck handling your patients, hopefully after treating them you become on of the them."
(Waiter placed order on the table) "Ha-ha so funny Arjun, such an old joke"
"Well do you know, you know what they say about people who drink espressos?"
"No. What?" I Giggled left the mystery open, "Nothing. I'm just messing with ya."
Then I asked "what made you change your mind, why did you forgive me?"
She seemed a little stunned? Taken aback by the question
"ermm...Well you can't undo anything you've already done, but you faced up to it. You apology was Sincere it wasn't coloured with expectations. Forgiving you meant letting go of the past"
Before I could ask her anything else she requested me to drop her off home as it was becoming very late.
(Reached Arohi home)
I opened the door for her and she got out. I opened up my big black umbrella,
while she simply stood there, not wanting to leave yet, hoping there was still
a chance for me.
I held my tears and said to her, "Take care of yourself, take good care of
yourself."
she simply nodded lightly and smiled. Then opened up her misshaped umbrella and stepped out onto the street.
"you to arjun, take good care of yourself"
"i smiled and i said I'll try".
Out in the rain, we became two single life forms, one red, one black, so far away from each other. Then I closed the gate that would separate me from her forever. I stood by the car, staring into the dark window at the first and last love in my life; finally I couldn't hold my sorrow and the twisted lies in my heart any longer. I waved my arms rapidly at her, because I knew this would be last time I see her. I wanted to tell her I still love her. I wanted to tell her to stay. I wanted to tell her so much. However, she had already gone inside. Warm tears streamed down my face, blended together with the cold raindrops. I was cold not because of the rain. I was cold inside.
The passed in deep thoughts. Why did I not say anything to her? Why did I just let her just go?
Next morning I got and rang Aisha
"Aisha what time is Arohi flight?"
"Were already at the airport, her flight in about 30 minutes time but she's already boarded."
"what!!"
"nooo, this can't happen phone make her stop tell her that... the..The planes i don't know..The planes ermmm... got a bomb in or something."
"Fine I'll figure something out, until then get your backside to the airport."
(reached the airport)
"so where is she Aisha"
"Gone."
"Gone, what do you mean gone, i told you to stop her from leaving"
I looked around to see maybe she changed her mind and returned but she did not. There was only one way now and that was to run
That day i ran, like no man's ever ran. So I ran through restricted area through an exit-only door, did not look back on to see there was an army of security guards after me.
Until i saw Arohi who was standing in line.
I tipped and landed on my face shouting Arooohiii...
She looked back to find me on the floor with security guards trying to handcuff me...
"Please let me go i need to talk to someone, please let me go "i begged
Arohi came towards she looked slightly confused."Arjun what is all this what are you doing"
"Arohi need to talk to you please explain to them, please sir give me 10 minute"
You have got 10 minutes, 10 minutes only.
I took Arohi to the side
"Arohi i have tell you something i should have told you yesterday. I got on my knees and started to singing

I looked around to see everyone laughing but i did not care. I got up and looked Arohi straight in the eyes.
"i don't do this very often."she laughed.
I took hold of her hand "The spaces between your fingers were created so that another's could fill them in. Your words are my food, your breath my heart beat. You are everything to me. I love you, not only for what you are, But for what I am when I am with you,you make me complete your the things that i'm not.i...i don't what to say Arohi...i'm sure you can see it in my eyes."
"arjun please i can't do this' i need to go i'm getting late for my flight"
"Arohi don't go, I've sang, made fool out my self and got down on my knees. What more do you want, just tell me and i'll do it."
"arjun i don't want you do anything, apart from be friend, because sometimes friendship last more than love."
She reached up to kiss me on my cheek"bye arjun"...
