Its well understood that an actor has to prove versatility by playing wide variety of roles-serious,action,comedy...

Its good that Daya sir wants to play comic role but not the way they portray in gutur gu..

Daya sir has such an honorable role of a cop,that suits him.If the comic role had been such that Daya sir was the lead with justified and dignified role,that would have been better..but here in gutur gu Daya sir lands up in the end with fun of him being made..

Anyway,Daya sir must have taken up the role after pondering over it well..
