The most happening party took place last Friday. It was Sid Mallya's birthday and he threw a private bash at the presidential suite of a star hotel. It was a double whammy celebration as the RCB had pulverised Kings IX Punjab on the field. Good friend-isn't it time this couple made their relationship officialβDeepika flew down for the match and the birthday bash. The entire RCB team was in attendance as were close pals of Sid. The party rocked into the wee hours and the last guest apparently left the room at 6 am. The surprise guest present was Kingfisher calendar winner Angela Jonsson β who is now in the news for having dated Ranbir Kapoor β the young lady kept a low-profile all through the evening.
Meanwhile, if you are wondering why Deepika and Sid maintained a low profile at the recent RCB versus KTK match, it is not without reason. Apparently, both the youngsters have been asked by their dads to keep a distance from each other in public places. Sources close to both families claim that both Dr Mallya and Prakash Padukone were uncomfortable with the constant PDA by the couple. So, now if you see Deepu sitting miles away from Sid, they are not having a lover's spat but just following dad's instructions.
Everything seems to be going right for team RCB. (Touch wood!) After Chris Gayle's entry into the team, RCB's on a six-match winning streak which not many teams have done in the IPL. Gayle's now the second highest run scorer in the tournament! The Jamaican was spotted living it up at the IPL after-party with team mates Virat, Dilshan (who sadly played his last match in the IPL on Wednesday), Mayank Agarwal and others. Muralitharan and Sreesanth from Kochi Tuskers Kerala were spotted too. RCB's brand ambassador Deepika the lady was spotted sweetly posing with her fans at a city hotel.
When the talented Divya Palat and the rest of the Love Bytes cast came to Bengaluru, they made sure to have a blast. They roamed MG Road and Brigade Road and shopped for knick-knacks. After the play, they dined at Graze, indulged in karaoke and left the other guests completely entertained. "Gaurav and I took over the mike and sang a rendition of Leaving on a Jet Plane much to the amusement of fellow diners. Of course, we added names of members of the cast and made fun of them... in tune! And soon enough, the rest of the cast joined in and we sang the rest of the song ending with 'Bengaluru, we'll miss you...and we love you!!' says Divya. One fun bunch this is!
