It's a Punjabi equivalent of the word 'Yaar'

It came from a certain member in the forum by the name of 'Bagarh_Billa' who started using it in his posts I guess everyone else followed suit :)

Yes that was me, I joined only for friends who started those AT's, friends from the Bigg Boss forum last season, but since ZKJ went flat the forum subsequently became lifeless, then we all dispersed :)
