@all...i dunno why i wrote this part but i hope it came out fine😆

Part 48:

Mayank got up at his usual time in the morning and saw Nupur was still sleeping very close to him with her dreamy face next to him...and with her one hand she had tugged onto the edge of the comforter which was half covering them both...she felt cold he eventually decided and sitting up he pulled the comforter over her and tried to do away with the strands of her hair on her face and very lightely kept his palm along the edge of her face and he looked at her newly forming smile, he felt that she had woken up but maybe she had smiled in her sleep and it gave him immense pleasure to see her smiling like that...it was a great morning to start with...he itched to go ahead and give her a morning kiss and to own one too but fearing she may wake up from one of her favourite dreams, he decided against it and went ahead for his usual jogging today without dragging her along with him, because he didn't want to enforce things on her but wanted her to go for things which she wanted to rather than for him...

He silently took another picture of his sleeping beloved in his mind before he left...

Nupur was waiting for Mayank to come out of bath so that she got her chance to get ready...she whiled away her time looking at the roses gifted to her by Mayank the day before...she was lost looking at them with her elbow on the balcony railings and her hand supporting her face while she thought peacefully about the recent events in her life which were budding as roses to summarize it up...

Mayank came upto her and said, "Nupur tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?"

When Nupur tuned to look at Mayank to answer and watched herself go spellbound when she saw Mayank standing next to her freshly bathed with a towel tightly wrapped around his waist and looking at her with a thoughtful smile and being as casual as he was always...Nupur held her breath for a second and looked away and said, "Kuch nahi, bas aise hi...roses dekh rahi thi..."

Mayank ignored her expression in his excitement and held her hand and dragged her along with him in the room while Nupur gasped and asked, "Mayank?"

Mayank drew her carefully towards their bathroom while Nupur found herself in a fix and she asked with a bit anxiously, "Mayank, yeh kya?"

When Mayank quickly made her face towards the mirror on the tiles of their bathroom which held a sweet smiley drawn on it with a background of mist and looked at the smile forming on her face to match the one drawn by him and smiled to her in reply when she looked at him through the mirror and realised how Mayank was appreciating her small small acts so sweetly and she couldn't help and fight the tear that ironically was a product of her happiness...

Mayank smiled and looked at her and said, "Its great to exchange smile with you..."

Nupur wiped off her tear and replied, "Always...waise main toh ek second ke liye darr gayi thi..." she regretted what she blurted out in a jiffy of her thoughts...

Mayank creased his forhead and asked, "Darr gayi thi?..."

Nupur nodded her head in a an expression which said 'nothing-at-all' and looked away to hide her embarassment while her face gave her away by turning completely white and Mayank understood in the meanwhile what made her go white...

He gave a soft laugh and enclosed her in his arms from behind her and looked at her face in the mirror while she shiverred in his arms and said, "Mayank...chodo..."

Mayank replied stubbornly, "Nah...darr ko toh face karna chahiye naa..."

Nupur amazed at this stubborn and unexpected behaviour of Mayank took a very needed deep breath to calm herself down and replied, "Mayank!!!"

Mayank grinned at her and leaving her he said,"achcha achcha...par BYGOD, maine nahi socha tha ki Nupur jitni bindass dikhti hai...utna hi sharmati bhi hai..."

This made Nupur blush like hell while she left the bathroom taking a few quick steps...

When she came out she replied back, "Woh main Sharma nahi rahi thi...woh toh mere kapde gilley ho rahe the..." to which Mayank rolled his eyes to her and she left to get ready herself...

Nupur had gone in the evening to Bhushan's house and had eventually invited Mayank too at the dinner over there where they had to face another teasing session from Gunjan who had alreary heard of Mayank and Nupur's latest developements by Shilpa Sharma and having confirmed it with Nupur...but the teasing had soon subsided considering the fact that it had Mayank as its prey...

All Nupur could see was a contented look on her Bauji's and Gunjan's face and she had the world at her side already in the name of Mayank...

Another beautiful morning awaited Mayank and Nupur the next day, because it rained surprisingly at an odd day and Nupur was far too happy to have a wonderful surprise from these sometimes unoccasional pattern of rain...

Mayank was all set to leave for his office when he saw Nupur, by his side, sprinkling some rain water on him when he complained, "Nupur, merey kapde kharab ho jaayenge...mujhe office jaana hai..."

Nupur complined back, "Toh...Mayank tumhare paas yahi ek jodi hai kya kapdo ki...doosri pehen lena...filhaal toh tum Indra Devta ko thanks kaho weather ko suddenly itna beautiful banane ke liye..."

Mayank irritated a bit was now thinking of combatting back and what he did almost shocked Nupur when she saw herself being lifted off the ground and being carried away to the terrace...

When they entered there all Nupur could do was smile to him for being so-himself-yet-being-the-sweetest-ever...he swirled her around in his arms when she closed her eyes and felt the rain water trickle down on her face and felt rain like never before...

She opened her eyes and rested her forhead against his while he felt the first rain of love wash them over with all the freshness and happiness that it brought with it...they both smiled to each other and Mayank asked her after sometime, "Itni baarish kaafi thi aaj ke liye?"

Nupur chuckled and nodding her head she replied a 'yes' by hugging him still in his arms and then getting down on her feet she said dragging him downstairs, "Ab change nahi kiya toh hum bimaar pad jaayenge...Mayank tum bhi naa..."

Mayank looked at her in dis-believe and followed her closely behind...

Nupur quickly went to her drawer and brought a napkin and brushed it over Mayank's hair to dry up his hair while Mayank looked at his caring wife completely lost...

If Mayank ever believed and commented at such rainy sequences in movies as "Just Filmy" and "Non-sensical" and "Obviously Unreal" then he cheated on his own words when he moved closer to Nupur while she tried to dry up his hair he felt rains had left a serene look on her face and held her by her waist thereby surprising Nupur out of her wits...she looked at Mayank and felt herself going weak at his guesture and their mingled breathes were enough to already make her feel too vulnerable to react...

Their eyes found themselves deeply lost when Mayank bent down to kiss her deeply and profusely and she kissed him back...

He pushed back her wet hair behind and moved his cheeks against hers and kissed her ear and neck while she crushed his shirt collar in her hands after the napkin had dropped from her hands...

Both their heart beats raced each other's...when sudenly a phone call made them pull away from each other when Mayank was stunned at himself a little at his suddenly passionate guesture while Nupur looked down a little more lost at actions than thoughts...and involuntarily straightened up her dress which were already too wet and clung to her with all the rain water it still held while she looked at Mayank when he talked on the phone and tried to calm heart down...

Mayank came back to her feeling a little awkward and dis-appointed due to the phone call because he had to leave immediately...

Mayank smiled awkwardly to Nupur and Nupur returned back his smile...

Mayank spoke first, "Nupur...tum pareshan toh nahi ho naa?" he needed to know if she felt fine with his sudden steps towards her and if she was comfortable...

Nupur smiled automatically at his question, he was the one to fall in love with every step of life being the most genuine guy that he was, he asked even when it was not necessary just to make sure that she felt fine she still smiling said, "Nahi"...then she settled her smile to an awkward one feeling silly to have smiled at his THIS question...

Mayank patted her cheeks and replied smiling and frowning at the same time, "Mujhe abhi jaane hai Nupur...bheege kapde badal lo..warna sardi lag jaayegi..." and he himself went away to change so as to leave for his work...

While Nupur stood there standing there fixed to the spot feeling blush attacks like never before...

Mayank came too late in the night and saw Nupur was sleeping on the couch rather than bed holding onto the remote control of TV while she apparently awaited his arrival...

He picked her up to place her to have a good sleep on the bed when she woke up sudenly to find her in Mayank's arms, it took Nupur to realise that it wasn't her dream but for real...

She opened her mouth to say, "Mayank"

When Mayank quickly said, "Shhh...so jaao Nupur...baad mein baat kar lenge..." and placing her carefully on bed he went away to freshen up while she tried to back to her sleep but something nudged her so she just waited for him to come back keeping her eyes closed still...

Mayank came back and tried to make no noise while she slept when Nupur sat upright with drooping eyes and asked, "Mayank...tumne kaha toh ki kha loge...par tumne khana khaya?"

Mayank replied, "Haan!"

"Nupur asked again, "Aur tumhara kaam jiske kiye itna time laga woh theek se ho gaya?"

Mayank was in for a total surprise today at Nupur's behaviour as a typical wife

,laughing a little he replied, "Haan Nupur aur poori duniya mein sab kuch theek hai toh ab chain ki neend se so jaao..."he thought he had disturbed her sleep

Nupur further asked, "Neend aa rahi hai?

Mayank just said, "Hmm" pressing his lips together and nodding he asked, "Tumhe?"

Nupur nodded dis-appointedly because she wanted to talk to him...just anything...but for sometime...she did want to talk but Mayank seemed tired to talk and so she decided to give in and smiled and replied, "Jee Swaami...aur ab aap bhi so jaayiye..."

Both laughed in sync and went to sleep peacefully where Nupur settled her head above Mayank's shoulder and held onto his arms and started her new journey to

dreams...Mayank gave a sweet kiss to Nupur on lips and drifted to sleep himself...
