OMG! I love this scene of Amitji's in AAA, he's so funny and he did such a fab job as a drunk here-classic AB!
Also Amitji was too good in Sharaabi, his style,mannerisms, way of talking he potrayed a sharaabi so brilliantly in that movie!
And ofcourse AB in Muqaddar Ka Sikandar an ofcourse his drunken cockroach scene in Hum-too awesome!
So yeah my vote goes to AB for his variety of roles as an alcholic ranging from serious, a man in pain to comedy

Am gonna say SRK in Devdas. I haven't seen Kangana in Gangaster. But she is good as a drug addict not alcoholic. Her scene in Fashion when she was drunk was not that great. SRK seemed more convincing. My vote for SRK in Devdas. 😊

Havent seen many of the older films, but out of the recent ones

Bollywood movies glamorize alcoholics and it's overdramatic. Most memorable characters are comic. From that list I would pick,
