WRITTEN UPDATE
Akshay comes to meet Manjari. She is surprised when "Akshay" calls her baby. She goes down to see him. He then grabs her from the back and they both cry out surprised. Ria? appears and tells Manjari that it's her boyfriend. She pleads Manjari to not tell her grandfather about Akshay. And then they realize, there is no where for Akshay to stay and Manjari thinks of a plan.
The master [grandpa guy] demands to know why Manjari broke his rule. Boys and girls live seperately. He asks her what relationship her and Akshay share and the real Akshay hears this and thinks he's talking about him. Manjari tells him that Akshay was her brother and Akshay is shocked to hear this.
Ria pleads for her grandfather to let Akshay to stay. He agrees.
Manjari leaves the room and is surprised to find Akshay standing near the window. She asks him what he's doing. Also tells him to get ready and come for dinner. Akshay refuses to say anything to her and just leaves.
IN MUMBAI...
Ranbir gives Mallika a bouquet. And they go for their date.
IN LONAVLA...
The grandfather tells them that boys and girls sit on opposite sides of the table. He also asks Ria's Akshay if he knew Manjari's Akshay. He says yes and Manjari's Akshay is confused. Then Ria's Akshay tells them that people called him AK because Manjari didn't like the name Akshay. Akshay realizes who Manjari had meant and smiles.
Before starting to eat, they do a small prayer with their eyes closed.
AK tells Akshay that he's Ria's boyfriend.
The grandfather asks him what he does. AK tells him that he just finished college so he was going to spend a year discovering himself. The grandfather demands him to figure out what he wants to do now. Hard work is important even love.
Akshay asks the grandfather how long should a person wait if you truly love someone. The grandfather replies saying that you shouldn't wait. You need to fight for your love if it's true.
Manjari plans on stepping on Akshay's foot but instead by accident steps on AK's. AK then thinks it's Ria and assumes that she's playing footsie with him. She kicks him back but instead kicks Akshay who thinks it's Manjari.
Manjari kicks him back but accidentally kicks the grandfather who demands to know what she's doing. Manjari apologizes telling him that she was killing a mosquito.
Akshay and Manjari have a faceoff after dinner and Akshay demands to know what she's doing. Manjari tells him that he'd only understand if he cared. Manjari also tells him that she knows what love was.
