The sun rose high as the Ganguly's, Banerjee's and Harshad sat down to eat breakfast.
Arjun: So Harshad, where do you work?
Harshad: I work in a company where I select people to become singers.
Neela: Our Anu used to do that aswell.
Everyone went quiet as Taani came into the room.
Taani: Why is everyone so quiet? Anyway, garam garam nashta tayar hai!!!
Taani served everyone except Harshad.
Harshad: Excuse me, may I have some.
Neelu: Taani, give him some.
Taani: Fine.
She served Harshad so much that he couldn't eat anymore.
Harshad: Maa, dekhon na, Taani kya kari hai.
Everyone except Harshad: Maa???
Harshad: Sorry I meant Aunty. I call all my aunties maa, and you remind me of my mum.
Neelu: Don't worry beta, you can call me maa.
Harshad smiled as everyone carried on eating.
Taani came downstairs.
Taani: Maa, mein jaa rahi hu.
Neelu: Acha beta, apna khayal rakna.
Arohi: Wait wait wait!!!
Everyone turned to Arohi.
Arohi: I need to go for a bit of shopping. Is that ok Aunty?
Neelu: Of course!!! Ananya, you go aswell.
Harshad was just passing by.
Arohi: Harshad, please can you drop us off. I would have told Arjun but he's gone to work. Please!!!
Harshad: Ok then.
Taani: But Arohi...
Everyone went to the car while Taani followed them.
Ananya and Arohi sat at the back. Taani was going to go sit at the back.
Ananya: Taani, you sit at the front. Otherwise Harshad would look like a driver.
Harshad mumbled: I'd rather be a driver than sit next to her.
Taani: I heard that Mr Aakroo.
She went to sit at the back.
Ananya and Arohi: Taani!!! 😡
Taani went to sit at the front and slammed the door.
Harshad smiled and drove to the shopping mall.
Ananya: Acha Harshad, Taani needs to be dropped off at her studio.
Harshad: Ok, I'll drop her off.
Arohi: Have a sweet drive!!! 😛
Harshad was driving.
Harshad: So, Miss Besura-gaanewali, tell me about this Anurag person.
Taani: Why should I?
Harshad: Well if someone looks like me, then I should know.
Taani didn't reply as she stared at the cars, zooming past her.
For five minutes there was silence. Harshad put on songs. He was annoyed with all the songs playing. Suddenly Taani stopped him. It was the song, 'In Lamhon Ke Dhamand Mein'.
Taani thought: It was Anu's favourite song.
Harshad: How do you know my favourite song?
Taani was shocked. 😲
Taani: This is Anu's favourite song. How can you be so alike?
Harshad: Well, you're a bit stupid sometimes. Anyone can have a favourite song.
Taani ignored him as she reached the studio.
Harshad: Bye!!!
Taani waved at him and went inside.
Meanwhile, all the children were gathered in Adi's room, deep in thoughts.
Tania: Guys and Girls, we have to find out as much information on Dad. We have to see why he left us and Mum.
Everyone nodded their heads.
Tania: So far we know that Dad and Mum loved each other. Then we know that there was some problems with Ritesh. And finally we know that Dad left Mum when Priya was born.
Kuhu: On chachi's diary, she said that chachu had to attend a call. We need to find out who the call was from.
Adi: Nice plan, where will we find Dad's phone?
Tania: Well, Dad must have kept an address book.
Priya: Let's search the house.
Arav: But what about your Dadi???
Kuhu: I will tell Dadi to take Priya shopping as she has to buy something. Then I will say that I can look after you lot.
Everyone nodded as Kuhu and Priya went downstairs.
Tania: So, Arav and Adi, you both will search downstairs and Kuhu and me will search upstairs.
Taani was walking down the streets of Mumbai. She felt so exhausted. It was already the evening and Taani felt very scared. Suddenly a car came.
Harshad: Heyy Taani.Why are you walking? Come inside.
Taani hopped inside.
Taani: Thanx.
Harshad: No probs.
They drove through the roads. His car stopped. It wasn't moving at all.
Taani and Harshad: NOT AGAIN!!!! 😡
