Aehem had got his contract. If Gopi didn't speak then nothing was impossible. This time she made him hopeless but turned the opposite.
Again he didn't say thanks. He recollected the Dandiya competition and the cricket competition as how because of her he won have not won.
He refused to believe it. He thought of taking the 1st step ahead. Be friends with Gopi as this was the way he could come to know. But his heart already pounced in and out.
He came home and found out everyone had gone to the hospital. He leaves as well and goes to see what had happened as Mani and Kamla wasn't telling him.
He arrives and sees everyone waiting outside the ICU and in tension. Parag comes up to him and tells him: Gopi has got burnt. She went to Rashi friends marriage with her and that place caught on fire and sadly she got caught in it and... He paused. She is facing life and death. God wills she be safe and be back with us.
He sits down in a shock and looked down.
His inner self spoke:
What did you do Aehem Modi. What did you do. If you didn't treat her badly then this wouldn't have happened. Your her culprit if she dies.
He stood up and saw the time on his mobile. 3 hours has passed by the doctor still not out.
What has happened? Has she died he thought? No way , what will happen now. I go back to Anita. Not her again, she such a Gold digger
The doctor came out and informs the family that there is hope, however the operation to save Gopi might be dangerous and Gopi will take much time to recover. He goes back in the ICU and continued with the operation.
Kokila spoke: If Gopi didn't go to Rashi friend marriage with her then this all wouldn't have happened. Oh God, why does it happen with that poor girl. Pehle ma bap, phir us ki mami aur rashi nai naukar ki tarha irtemal kiya, phir aehem aur uski dant aur yeh.
The doctor came out and told them she is safe and is out of danger. We have to keep her in hospital for 2 days and then take her home. She needs complete bed rest.
Aehem goes in and sees her in a shock. A big box over her body as she had been burnt on her legs, arms and her back. Slight burnt on her neck.
He was hurt. He blamed it all on him. If he didn't treat her like dirt then it all wouldn't have happened.
Tears running down his cheeks, looked down and closed his eyes.
Gopi woke up and saw Koki : maaji, ami scarred for life or will i be able to be normal again. She calms down and Koki nodded.
2 Days have passed. Gopi had lost hope but the family didn;t let her down. They gave her all happiness and made her laugh but Aehem did not talk to her.
He came hospital, discharged her, and went to her ward, told the driver to take the bag to the car and he bring her along. Gopi tried to walk but she couldn't.
Aehem lifts her up and takes her to the car.
