Hi  Shilpita,

The Gift is a beautifully written and realistic story of Today and that is what makes it so easy to relate with.  Love, hope and belief is something like chicken soup for the soul...that touches your core and makes you feel nice.

Love happens but many a times we tend to overlook it. Smile

Brilliantly written Shilpi:-)

its heart wrenching...emotional...
both the characters haridaan and Ritika had suffered a lot ...but for me haridaans pain was much more as compared to ritikas...

the guy had lived such lonely life that he didnt even wanted to go back home...sigh...i felt a pang in my heart :-(

loved the way ritika thanked him for that opportunity...that is so true that after you achieve success you really dont bother to thank the person who laid the foundation for you...but ritika is so kind that she did not forget him :-)

characters like nandani are so selfish...who can easily move forward without even thinking what pain they are giving to the other person...thank God she didnt became a part of that innocent souls life...

and another selfish example is ritikas fiance...who didnt bothered to be by her side at such hard time

but that is how these two people were destined to meet...and  how did God created the circumstances ...what surprised me the most was how the girl was aware that it was only him who was sending flowers... :-)

the ending part was extra ordinary...the ending came like a fresh air after all that depressing phase these two people have been through...
what a way to end...as if it was a new beginning for the couple...

and the title THe GIFT was so apt...destiny has given them a chance to relive their lives with all the happiness they desreved :-)

awesome piece of work :-)
thanks  a lot for the pm :-)

Bittersweet! Actually, I don't know what to say. You should make a telefilm out of this. Smile

Nice one Shilpi...very touching...she knew it was him...as I was reading I was so hoping you would make him go and see her to know how she guessed it was him...and thanks for getting them to meet...
Seemed so real...I can see how we can get carried away so much with work and let other things slip by until finally work is the only think you look forward too... more like compulsive workaholics... am glad finally he found something to look forward to each evening... Smile
Thanks for the wonderful OS, you writing is always a pleasure to read...
