Part 10

After all the drama , nandini was sitting quietly in her room , kuhu came all ecited n ask her to recite a story from her book ...

Nandini starts reading it , kuhu puts her head slowly on her lap

"Once upon a time, in a faraway land,

A young Prince lived in a shining castle.

Although he had everything his heart desired,

The Prince was spoiled, selfish, and unkind.

But then, one winter's night,

An old beggar woman came to the castle

And offered him a single Rose

In return for shelter from the bitter cold.

Repulsed by her haggard appearance,

The Prince sneered at the gift,

And turned the old woman away.

But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances,

For Beauty is found within.

And when he dismissed her again,

The old woman's ugliness melted away

To reveal a beautiful Enchantress.

The Prince tried to apologize, but it was too late,

For she had seen that there was no love in his heart.

And as punishment,

She transformed him into a hideous beast,

And placed a powerful spell on the castle,

And all who lived there.

Ashamed of his monstrous form,

The beast concealed himself inside his castle,

With a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world.

The Rose she had offered,

Was truly an enchanted rose,

Which would bloom for many years.

If he could learn to love another,

And earn her love in return

By the time the last petal fell,

Then the spell would be broken.

If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast

For all time.

As the years passed,

He fell into despair, and lost all hope,

For who could ever learn to love...a Beast?"

Story finished, nandini looked at kuhu , she was sleeping on her lap , she makes her comfortable n remembers the lines of the story

To herself: Its seems so true sum times , he's really a beast n will never change .

She puts the book n leave the room n goes to talk with robi , as she entered , she saw him sleeping silently ,but there was a sense of tension n pain was there on his face which he never show to any1 if he's awake , she return back ...

Next morning

Nandini after finishing the daily wrk n sending kuhu to school came to robi's room n entered without knocking...

Robi: dnt u hv sum manners

Nandini: shut up , u n ur manners , i hv seen hw many manners do u hv

Robi: listen , i hv not force u to marry me , nahi karni to bol do ,aur bhi bahut haiii

Her mouth gets open

N: awww, wat did u just said , u think everything is a big joke

Robi was abt to speak sumthing but she shouted on him so badly that he turned his face n pretends to be not listening , she goes in front of him

N: dnt ct smart, u hv to listen me

R: m I bound to do so

N: yes u r , every hubby has to listen his wife

R: u r not my wife yet

N: yes i noe but m ur would be wife n u hv to listen me

Robi turn to her : ok bolo wat u want now

N: i want to go for shopping

R: then go

N: nooo m not going alone , u hv to accompany me

Robi takes out sum money n give it to her: take this n go with laboni maa or massi maa

before she reply , laboni enters with a puja thali n do thr aarti n other rituals which would hv done after the marriage got fixed

R: wats all this now

L: shhh... dnt speak

R: stop it maa , i dnt like this

L: buts its for ur gud luck robi

R: i dnt want any good luck(he was very rude to her so she leaves without saying anything)

N: u r really a beast

R: wat

N: janwar ho janwar ab samjh aaya

n she leaves from there

Robi leaves for office

Nandini goes to ananya , as she found no one was there in the house so its best time to speak

N: dii

ananya smiles at her n hugs her : congrats

Nandini takes her blessings

N: m so sorry diii , for wat he has done last nite

A: its ok , i noe he's broken from inside n now it will take time

N: dnt wrry dii , he'll be f9 soon

ritesh enters the room "No matter how hard you try, you're not getting the old 'Robi' back!"

Nandini looks at him with strange eyes

N: can i ask sumthing

A: dnt nandini , just let it be , it was very painful n m not able to tell u that

N: diii plz atleast sumthing which help me to change his nature atleast towards me

R: he lost his life bcoz of me

N: wattt

Ritesh sits on the sofa wth tears in his eyes...ananya consoles him

A: its not all bcoz of u ritesh

N: but i dnt get anything

A: maulii

before she further say anything , kuhu is back n she had to leave , leaving ritesh n ananya behind with tears in thr eyes...

Day passed

Robi is back home ...He was doing sum work in his office n heard sumthing , he immidiately ran towards terrace , he saw mauli sitting n the jhula n smiling towards him ...

he feels relaxed looking at her , as he moves towards her ..he heard a voice ...

" Come sit ", he looks at the voice n it was not mauli it was nandini , sitting on the jhula

he looked at her strangely ...

N: aa naaa

robi moves towards her n sits beside her

N: its nice na

R: wat

N: the cold breezeee(she opens her arms to feel the wind)

loks at robi , thr was pain in his eyes..

N: kuch kehna hai , to keh sakte ho ...

R: no

N:These are all the things I have been called since the moment I came into this world.

I have never known happiness or love. Never known what it was like to be part of a family.

Never had friends... Or even, just anyone who could look at me and smile.

My life has been one, full of pain and suffering.

All I have ever wanted from anyone, was love and affection. Though no one has ever been willing to bestow such necessities upon me, not even my own mother.

I have memories from early childhood, of my mother,

And now, I find myself asking similar questions.

'What did I ever do, to deserve such a fate?'

R: nandiniii(he was touched that such a fun loving girl can think like this)

Nandini turn to him: no m f9 , she smiled

R: maulii

Nandini looks at him

R: I still love her, but she cant be a part of my life, she was n will always be my life ...

"Be near me when my light is low,

When the blood creeps, and the nerves prick

And tingle; and the heart is sick,

And all the wheels of Being slow.

Be near me when the sensuous frame

Is rack'd with pangs that conquer trust;

And Time, a maniac scattering dust,

And Life, a Fury slinging flame.

Be near me when my faith is dry,

And men the flies of latter spring,

That lay their eggs, and sting and sing

And weave their petty cells and die.

To point the term of human strife,

And on the low dark verge of life

Nandini moves towards him n puts her hand to her shoulder : Your frnd will always be there for u , whenever u want to share your pain , ur happiness ..

he looked at her

N: but not anger, i dnt like angry boyz

she smiled , he wipes his tears n walk away

turns : goodnite , so jao

he walk away ...

Nandini to herself "He doesn't apologize.

He says it, but you know he doesn't really mean it, "

she open her arms n closed her eyes : ohhh Robi...I love u

Robi return to his room , looked at mauli's pic " I love u mauli"

Night passes n new day started , it was a beautiful day for nandini , she was very excited but ut was a usuall day for robi , he got ready n leaving for office...

L: where u going today , its ur engagement

R: i hv told u m not interested in all this but u dnt listen to me

L: but , its of nandini , atleast thing of her for once

Robi think for a while: wats the timings

L: 6 pm

R: i'll try to cum

He leaves , nandini was happy that he has atleast thought of her.

thanks 4 update dear...i was waiting for it...

good that robi atleast consider nandu as his friend & told her the truth😊...nandu is already in love with him😳...looking forward to their relationship to change in love from friendship...i know it will happen gradually...but eagerly waiting to see how nandu will bring changes in robi's attitude...

it looks like it was ritesh's fault that mouli died😭... what has really happened?...why ritesh was in jail?...what has happened to tanu & nilu maa?...plz tell us the detailed strory of past...
