Sid and Riddhima were lost in each other's arms. Suddenly Sid came to senses and he broke away from hug. Riddhima looked at him and felt embrassed about her reaction. She scolded herself that how could she lose her control like this. Sid just couldn't meet her gaze. She immediately wiped her tears.

 

Riddhima: I m sorry''. Mujy aise behave nahi karna chahiye tha''.

 

Sid: Its OK''..I can understand'you have just lost your father, agar main tumhari jaga hota to shaid main bhi aise hi react karta.

 

Riddhima: Thanks''..

 

Sid: Thanks''.For what?

 

Riddhima: For understanding me'''''..  

 

Sid: Its OK'..no need to say thanks''..(after a minute of silence) Armaan se baat ho gayi thi''..

 

Riddhima: Haan'''

 

Sid(with fake smiled): Bohat miss kar raha hoga tumhain.

 

Riddhima(thinking): Miss'..aur mujy'''use to shaid yaad bhi nahi ho ga ke us ki ek biwi bhi hai''

 

Sid: Kahan kho gayi''..

 

Riddhima: Nahi''.Kuch nahi''..

 

Sid(tried to cheer her up): Main bhi kitna stupid hoon'..tum pehli bar mere ghar ayi ho or maine tum se chai ka bhi nahi pucha'..kuch lo gi tum?

 

Riddhima: No need to do this Sid''..(Sid intrupted)

 

Sid: Riddhima''sach main mujy ab chai bnani aati hai. Main seekh gaya hoon.

 

Riddhima smiled at his innocence n agreed for a cup of tea.

 

Riddhima(smiling): OK''.

 

Sid: Wait main abhi chai bna ke lata hoon.

 

After sometime Sid came with two cups of tea. They had their tea with complete silence. After finishing tea Riddhima looked out from the window. Rain had stopped now.

 

Riddhima: Barish tham gayi hai'''.I think I should leave now its getting late.

 

Sid: Riddhima tum jao gi kaise''

 

Riddhima: Taxi se'''

 

Sid: Riddhima its getting dark now''why don't you call Armaan to pic you up.

 

Riddhima: Nahi Armaan''bohat busy hai. I don't think he would be able to come.

 

Sid: But Riddhima its too late''Tum ek kaam karo tum yaheen wait karo main taxi le kar ata hoon.

 

Riddhima: No Sid its fine''..

 

Sid: Riddhima it could be dangerous'raat ho gayi hai'just wait I'll be back soon.

 

Then she again changed into her Saree. Thankfully only her pallu was burnt. After sometime Sid came back.

 

Sid: Riddhima main taxi le aaya hoon. lets go (then he escorted her to the taxi)

 

Riddhima: Thank you Sid'.thanks a lot.

 

Sid(puzzled): For taxi''..

 

Riddhima: For every thing''..

 

Sid(smiled): Its OK''(now talking to taxi driver) drop her where she want(then he gave driver some money)'..keep the change.

 

Riddhima: Sid''PLZ no need to give money'''

 

Sid: Riddhima its OK''..now move you are getting late'..

 

Riddhima(with sad smile): Bye''(she don't wanted to go but she have to)

 

Sid: Bye''..

 

Riddhima sat inside the car. The engine started, Riddhima looked at Sid last time and waved him. Sid waved her back. After some time she reached home. Before entering house she hide her burnt pallu by shoping bags. So that Armaan couldn't see it.

 

Armaan: Aa gayi tum'' bohat jaldi aa gayi ho''..ek do ghantey aur ruk jati.

 

Riddhima: Armaan agar tumhain mujh se baat nahi karni then its fine''magar mujhy baat baat par taney mat mara karo''.

 

Armaan: Meri biwi pura din ghar se bahar rehti hai aur main puch bhi nahi sakta.

 

Riddhima: Armaan maine tumhain btaya tha ke main barish ki waja se late ho jaoon gi.

 

Armaan: Maine kaha tha na... try to come fast''tum koshish to kar sakti thi na.

 

Riddhima: Armaan taxi nahi mil rahi thi'''.

 

Armaan: PLZ stop this non sense''.tumhain to sirf mujh se door rehney ka bahana chahiye.

 

Riddhima: Armaan main tum se door nahi rehna chati, tum khud mujy apne ap se door kar rahey ho. Maine hamarey rishtey ko agay barhaney ki bohat koshish ki magar tumharey pass mere liye aj tak time nahi tha''

 

Armaan: Riddhima ab apni galti mere upar dalne ki koshish mat karo.

 

Riddhima: I think you are right galti meri hi hai, har baar galti meri hi hoti hai but you know what meri sab se bari galti kya hai''(Armaan looked puzzled) tum se shaadi.

 

Saying this she moved towards her room. She was so tired. She changed into her night dress n fall on bed. Her mind diverted towards the happenings of the day. A smile draw on her lips thinking how she met Sid, how he offered her tea n how they''hugged(the thought made her blush). She still couldn't understand why she is feeling like this, why she is feeling so relieved today, why she is feeling so happy and why Armaan's behaviour didn't affect her today. After so long she was feeling like this, even after so long she is feeling something. The feeling which she thought have died long time ago but today she felt them again. After so long she felt she is alive, she do have feelings, she do have someone who cares for her. She thought, she could never be able to smile again but Sid made her smile today. Today she genuinely smile after almost two years. She just kept thinking about Sid until she fall asleep.
