Jamna is fuming with anger in her room thinking about Kesar's words (I can almost see the smoke coming out of her ears). Her husband tries to calm her down but she says that she was insulted in front of everyone by Kesar, instead of supporting Jamna her husband supported Kesar. He tells her that it was her fault and should not have said those things about Talli. Jamna says that she is saying the truth and for that girl Kesar insulted her. She asks her husband to be quiet since he will follow Mota Bha blindly the entire life. He tells her to keep her bad words to herself. She says that what Kesar did with her today, he can do with him as well, then he will realize his mistake. He says that he trusts Kesar completely that he will not behave like this with him, and whatever happened today Kesar was not wrong, Jamna was the only one wrong. Jamna feels very upset.
Sudha is in her room, Talli comes and hugs her. Sudha doesn't respond and moves away wiping a tear from her eye. Talli asks her if she is still angry, Sudha says who is she to get angry because she has no right over Talli, Talli has started making her own decisions now and doesn't need her anymore. Talli apologizes and says that Sudha has full right over her and loves her so much. Sudha says that Talli must be sick of her love, Talli promises that she will never hurt Sudha and asks for forgiveness. Sudha says that it is not about Talli and Sudha, it is about the family, Sudha feels very bad when anyone says anything to Talli or is upset with her. Talli says that she will remove everyone's annoyance.
Kesar is in his room looking at Vasant's photo thinking about the cop's words that he will reopen the case only if Kesar brings proof. Gulaal enters his room and sees that it is dark. She asks Kesar to come for dinner, he refuses, she says that she doesn't know why he is angry but he should not take it out on food, and in general he should not take out one thing's anger on another. He calls out to her but hesitates (probably wants to ask about Dushyant & Vasant) and then agrees to come for dinner.
All the men are seated for dinner. Mota Bha praises Gulaal for making (urad dal) lentils after so long and Dushyant agrees and says that the taste is different but it is very tasty. Gulaal says it is because Talli made all the food because she was sad that everyone was upset with her and made everyone's favorite dishes. Mota Bha says that they were not upset because of her, but were upset for her. He says that this is Talli's house and will always remain that way. Dushyant asks Kesar why he is not eating. He eats a bite and says that the food is very good, he suspects whether Talli made it. He takes out his coin, Talli's face falls, he flips it and says that the coin also says that Talli made the food. She serves Kesar more food, he says that he doesn't want to become fat like her, she gets mad and serves him more food and says he has to finish it. Everyone laughs. Jamna's husband calls Talli and says that after a long time he has eaten sweet curry, his daughter Kanchan used to make it for him, he feels as though he is eating Kanchan's hand cooked food, and hugs her. He says that after today whenever she misses her father she should think of him as her father and go to him, and never think of herself as lonely and helpless, and he cries. Jamna looks on from behind and gets very angry. Gulaal goes to get Jamna, Dushyant notices that Kesar is barely eating and is troubled about something.
Dushyant is by himself at night and flashbacks to the cop's words about Kesar's wanting to reopen Vasant's accident file. Gulaal looks on from above.
The next morning Dushyant knocks on Kesar's door and wakes him. Kesar says that he slept late so he woke up late. Dushyant says obviously he won't be able to sleep if he is troubled. He tells Kesar that he understands that Kesar has returned after so many years and may have suspicions and questions, but he should not take any step that will cause the family any pain, Kesar should calm his mind and remove any negative thoughts. Kesar says that looks like Dushyant cares too much about Kesar's well being. Dushyant says of course, he is Kesar's older brother. Kesar says just like Vasant was Dushyant's older brother. Dushyant's face falls. Kesar says he is glad Dushyant woke him, he had to go for an important work.
Kesar goes to some men in the village and describes the driver of the jeep that caused Vasant's accident. The men ask for a photo which Kesar doesn't have. Kesar looks for the driver by asking around with no success. One cop tells Durgesh about Kesar's desire to reopen the file, and that Kesar is looking for proof now. Durgesh says that he did not even have to move a finger and already his plan is working, and Kesar is much loved and he himself will finish Mota Bha's family since they will fight with each other once they learn the truth. Durgesh says that but still he doesn't feel like watching on the sidelines, and is thinking of acting on the next part of his plan, now they will realize what humiliation is.
Precap: When Gulaal and Kesar are praying, someone says that the seed that was sown 10 years back is now in full bloom, look at how people are taking pleasure today from the deeyarvattu. Kesar gets angry and flings the prayer plate on the man who said this. Mota Bha is mad and tells Kesar why is he bent on humiliating him and catches Kesar's collar. Dushyant says that whatever Kesar did was right, he would have done the same thing. Kesar looks on in anger.
