but folks umar kaid is not wrong sentence and here its an DIG not some low status person a government servant

just read below

Some times an injury proves worst than death when victim is crippled for life. Maximum punishment for attempt to murder (u/s 307) and for causing grievous hurt with dangerous weapons (u/s 326) is life imprisonment and for causing grievous hurt without dangerous weapons (u/s 325) is 7 years imprisonment.

Umar kaid Is for 14 or 7 years only...Not for whole life..There is another tag for Lifetime jail...

prem thats true but not in 1 hearing and without defending lawyer they should give chance not just by allowing time but by postponing hearing and appointing lawyer if none is available for suspect.even criminals have rights. this is ridiculous

kavya the only valid reason i think is that the accused is keep on repeating the same confession which they already have so judge has no time to listen to that.he is in a hurry to announce the verdict.probbably he has been paid by rps or someone.

thisis retarded..

you cannot hold a case in a location where everyone knwos about it.. there has to be a jury (unbiased)

there has to bhi a support of evidence and argument for/against it

if the defendant doesn't ahve a lawyer or anyone, the court is responsible for providing with one.. if the lawyer doenst show up it should nto be held agains the victim

there is not murder case in history that can be told/and announced hearing in 20mins... please ekta ppl get some things right

i understand u guys want to speed up the process but this is no way to do it
