From ranbir Kapoor's chamber of secrets

The Kapoor Khandaan has been known for their swinging parties since the times of the first RK. But lately, except for the yearly Ganesh Chaturthi, hardly anyone got to hear of an RK bash. The fourth generation Kapoor lad, Ranbir has however managed to break the norm.

On Wednesday night, with his parents away and their Pali Hill bungalow Krishna Raj empty, Ranbir announced his first ever Bollywood bash.

A little spur of the moment, the party which was supposed to be kept under wraps was reported by Mumbai Mirror yesterday. And now we bring to you the juicy details of what went on behind the closed doors of the rather impressive venue.

Ranbir or work? Is that even a question?
Ace photographer Atul Kasbekar zoomed in to the party in his car with a pretty girl in the back seat. An eyewitness even called her 'pouty'. Going by the description, we thought it could be Ranbir's latest 'friend' Angela Jonsson.

But then again, wasn't she in Bangalore for an assignment till evening, on that very day? But looks like, when it comes to choosing between work and Ranbir's house party, the latter wins hands down. At least for this Kingfisher calendar girl.

According to a friend of the model, the girl was supposed to come back to town after finishing her ad shoot on Thursday evening. Well, she either worked real fast or simply decided to give Ranbir the first preference.

And that of course, does not come as a surprise. After all we told you (on May 3) how close Jonsson is to the young Kapoor these days. The two had practically been inseparable over the last few weeks. In just two weeks, interestingly, this girl has achieved what only his formal (read media certified) girlfriends Sonam, Deepika and Katrina had till date: crossing the threshold of Krishna Raj!

Haath aya, par munh na lagaa
The news of the party meant to be kept under wraps, reached the media. And the paparazzi armed with cameras reached the venue much before the guests started trickling in, dumping a bucket of water on Kapoor's plans for the night.

To avoid further controversies, Ranbir did not even get too close to Angela throughout the night. Revealed a source, "We don't know why. We think it was because he didn't want her to be captured by the media in Krishna Raj.

He perhaps told her not to come. But by then it was too late, she had already landed in Mumbai and was racing towards Pali Hill."

No party for the parted
Though Angela had to maintain distance from her 'friend' Ranbir, at least she made it to the party. Priyanka Chopra, refused to be a part of the party altogether. Reason: She didn't want to meet Shahid Kapoor after parting ways with him.

Shahid who came vrooming on his new royal blue bike, wearing colour coordinated denim and a tee, was oblivious to Priyanka's decision to continue shooting for Karan Johar's (who, by the way, came to the party) Agneepath and not come to Krishna Raj. "Frankly, she could have easily gone for a few minutes and then returned to the shoot," said the source, adding, "But she chose to continue shooting.

So it would be wrong to say that Shahid was the only reason why Priyanka didn't come to Krishna Raj on Tuesday night. They had become  friends, but have apparently had another fight recently."

No blast from the past
Everybody came to the party. Starting with Karan Johar to Sonal Chauhan (She was the one with Emraan Hashmi in Jannat, in case you have forgotten). yes, Sonal Chauhan. Even we are wondering how or rather when she became Ranbir's friend. But guess who never even got an invite... Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif.

All said and done, we must say, with a pat on his back, "Ranbir, you've outdone yourself." Finally, we see a new age Karan Johar emerging the host of the roaring parties, the one who holds the industry together (at least the female population) and the man who makes people patch up.

Well, the last part did not happen, with Priyanka refusing to come for the party. But hey, better luck next time!
