rano looked at him with tears in her eyes...just then radheshyam again called rano asking for geet...rano and mohinder looked at each other with a horrified face...
mohinder: chalo..jo bhi ho..hume geet ko doondna hey...uskeliye...papa ko yeh baath bathana hi padega...chahe kuch bhi hojaye...
rano: lekin...
mohinder gave an angry look to her signalling her to stop...rano couldnot speak after that..both came out of their room and stood before radheshyam with their heads down...
radheshyam got confused for a moment..but after seeing the faces of his son and daughter-in-law he understood that something is terribly wrong...
radheshyam: kya hua mohinder...tum ithna pareshan kyu ho?
rano and mohinder looked at each other ..not knowing how to start...
radheshyam looked at rano whose eyes were puffed and red due to crying...
radheshyam: bahu..tum...ro kyu rahe ho? mein ne tumhe geet ko bhulane keliye kaha..woh kaha hey?
radheshyam looked at them with serious face...when they remained silent...he lost his patience and shouted at them...
radheshyam: mohinder...mein aap logon se kuch pooch raha hu...
rano and mohinder got startled with the outburst of radheshaym...finally mohinder opened his mouth,...
mohinder: papa ...geet ghar mein nahi hey...
radheshyam face became furious...he narrowed his eyes...
radheshyam: ghar mein nahi hey..kaha gayi hey woh?
mohinder gulped his saliva in fear and said.."patha nahi papa"
radheshyam stood up in anger saying "patha nahi...matlab...kab se gayab hey woh ghar se?"
mohinder: ji..woh subah mandir gayi thi..uske baad ghar nahi aayi...
radheshyam: mandir mein dekha...
rano:ji bapuji...pandith ji ne kaha ki aaj woh madir hi nahi aayi
radheshyam sat in his chair in shock...and anger...tej became furious...he came near his mother and yelled at her for her irresponsible bahavior...rano cried silently thinking about geet's safety...
radheshyam looked at tej who was clenching his fist trying to control his anger...
radhyeshyam: tej..ghadi nikhalo...
tej nodded and went outside...radheshyam stood up and looked at rano saying..."kisiko bhi patha nahi lagna chahiye ki geet ghar pe nahi hey...samjhi"
rano nodded with tears in eyes...mohinder and radheshyam along with tej sat in the jeep and went in search of geet...
maan's house
geet slowly opened her eyes...and looked around...she got shocked when she saw maan sitting beside her holding her hand...for a moment she felt it was a dream...later soon she realized that it was not a dream and maan was actually sitting beside her...she got up and tried to move away from him...which made maan to wake up from sleep...
when maan opened his eyes geet looked away..trying to avoid eye contact with him...maan could not remove his gaze from her...who was looking heavenly under moon light...
geet: meri haath chodiye...
maan was so lost in her..that he didn't listen what she said...he instead tightened his grip on her hand...which made geet breathless...she started to respond to his touch...but when she remembered about his engagement...she snapped her hand away...with a force...making maan to regain his senses...maan got embarassed and looked away from geet saying..."sorry"
geet started to feel restless in maan's presence...even though she tried hard to ignore him...she was unsuccessful in her attempts...her love was making her weak before him with every passing second...maan silently observed her facial expressions...from that he understood that his presence was affecting her...
maan: geet...
the moment she heard her name from him...her heart skipped a beat...she had never experienced such happiness in her life...tears rolled down her eyes...when geet didn't respond maan again called her...geet wiped her tears and turned towards maan trying to hide her emotions...
maan: ab kaisa lag raha hey?
geet nodded signalling that she is fine...
maan (monologue): jab woh dur rehthi hey..unse baath karne ka mann kartha hey..jab woh saamne aathi hey...ghale ki awaaz hi band ho jaatha hey...kya karu..kaise bathao unhe mere dil ke baath...agar bathaya tho woh kaisa react karegi...agar mujhe galath samaj liya tho...nahi...pehle..mujhe unki dil ki baath patha karna chahiye...yes...
geet: mein yaha kaise aaya...
maan: woh tum behosh hogayi thi..tho maine hi tumhe yaha pe laaya...
geet stood up clutching her dupatta saying..."mujhe chalna chahiye...ghar mein sab pareshan hothe honge...
maan: geet...ab bahuth raath ho chuki hey...kal subah mein khudh tumhe ghar pe chod dunga..ab keliye so jao...
geet: nahi mein chali chaonga abhi...
maan: nahi..tum kahi nahi jaa rahe ho...chup chap yeh doodh peekar so jao...kal subah tum tumhare ghar mein rahogi...its my promise...
although geet was very happy with his authoritative behavior on her...but still the thought ..that he was engaged made her to react violently to his words...
geet: aap kaun hothe hey mujh pe zabardasthi karne keliye...mein yaha pe nahi rukhungi...
maan: achcha..tho teek hey...agar tum yeh baath keh diya..ki mein tum per zabardasthi kar raha hu...to aise hi samajlo...mein tumhe nahi jaane doonga...chahe kuch bhi hojaye...
geet: dekhiye..aap mujhpe aise zabardasthi nahi karsakthe...
maan: tho kya karu..tum tho seedhe seedhe batho se maan hi nahi rahe ho...
geet got angry with maan's behavior...
geet: mein yaha pe nahi rahoongi...
having said these words she started walking towards the door...
maan got angry...he stopped geet by holding her wrist and pulled her back...geet fell over him due to that force...
maan: mein ne kaha na..tum kahi nahi jaa rahe ho...
geet looked at him with tears and fear in her eyes which made maan to realize what she did with her...maan at once released her wrist from his grip...geet freed herself from him and started running towards the door...before maan could think what was happening..geet opened the door and ran outside of maan's room...maan got shocked with the sudden act of geet ...and ran behind her ...
