Navya hands over the pious-plate to Anant's mother and she begins with the various rituals for the engagement. Anant and Navya steal a few glances at each other, while Rama and Shagun smell a rat and make faces I did not earnestly like. After the ritual winds up, Nimisha is spotted teasing Anant who stands right at the back of the couch on which she sits, she catches him making a most distinctive and delightful face at Navya. Post that, Anant's friends - Ranbeer, Ritz and Appy grace themselves with the feast whereas they fail to convince Navya as she refuses to eat anything. Just then, Anant shows up and enchantingly forces her into eating, to which she fails to refuse. Rama and Shagun still watch, they pester Anant for an agitating bit and then he and Navya along with the others leave. On the other hand, Renuka is ringing Navya constantly but she doesn't pick up the phone. Later on, Renuka realizes Navya had forgotten her cellphone there only, which she scrolls through it and traces a number, of some boy called Anant.
Rama is pretty scrupulous of the fishy thing between Anant and Nimisha's 'third' friend from 'his' college, she overhears Ritz and Appy when Ritz says she thinks Anant's family thinks they are not his but Nimisha's friend, given he must not be allowed to befriend girls. Rama plots a slight hell of a plan and orders Shagun to do as she directs. Her naive sister makes it and messes Navya's dress with the orange juice and takes her up to Anant's room while she herself Anant propels into getting from his room the present she'd gotten for Nimisha. There was no gift actually. Also, there's this scene before in which Nimisha gets introduced to Anant's friends by him and they discuss the trend of early-marriage in their family, to which Appy sighs and wishes her mother does something similar to her as well. And another scene wherein Ranbeer and Ritz are feeding each other ice-cream and Anant's great-aunt, Bua Dadi sees them and they instantly vanish!
Next up, Navya is jittery if she should use Anant's restroom but Shagun asserts that it is alright and she'd wait outside. She leaves the moment Navya gets into the restroom and that's around the time, Anant enters. He looks for the 'present' and eventually bumps into Navya. They make a conscious conversation and Anant even apologizes for being so obsessive and stubborn. He is confused and he explains to her how he never before behaved like that. On being asked by Navya if he would have actually come up to her place if she dint come, he answers doesn't have a clue. Renuka's still struggling with Navya's phone when her mother comes to inquire, she makes an excuse.
In the last half, Shagun and Rama are desperately trying to overhear Anant and Navya's conversation. Anant pleads to show Navya his balcony and he opens the door to it when his phone rings, it's Renuka. She inquires if Navya's with him, he replies in a yes and holds out the phone for Navya. Renuka warns Navya to be back in fifteen minutes and hangs up. Navya and Anant leave the room immediately while Rama and Shagun hide aside. At Navya's place, Ranbeer and company drop her. She's gotten the diapers, at last. Gautam invitingly begs her to accompany him and have some of the carrot-dessert with him before his mother-in-law thrusts all of it down his throat. Sometime around, the episode freezes.
In the pre-cap, Renuka's pretty angry and makes queries about Navya's acquaintance with Anant and also asks if she's in love with him and why they were together under any circumstances, whatsoever.
