LET'S MAKE A DEAL — Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) try a brutal new approach to provoke Elena (Nina Dobrev) into turning her humanity back on, and Caroline (Candice Accola) is frustrated when her attempt to intervene backfires. When Elena figures out a way to call the Salvatore brothers' bluff, they call for backup from a surprising source. Matt (Zach Roerig) gives Rebekah (Claire Holt) some unsolicited advice on her life choices, and she tries to help him in return. Caroline has a confusing and dangerous encounter with Klaus (Joseph Morgan), and Katherine (Nina Dobrev) is suspicious when Bonnie (Kat Graham) makes her an offer that she promises will benefit them both. • Regarding the triangle: "Damon talks to her about her professed love for him, while Stefan tries a more hands-on approach."
• Stefan and Damon are determined to convince her to flip her humanity switch back on.
• Carina said Stay by Rihanna is played in the ep but said that they might change the music for the episode before it airs. 
• The steroline dance is likely after the stelena dance.
• Caroline suggests that maybe Stefan will meet someone who will help him move on from Elena.
• Katherine "makes her voice heard."
• For "what can we expect about delena?", Carina said "someone uses the word "boyfriend" but not to get too excited.
• "Of all the high school dances he's inappropriately attended, we're pretty sure this one will go down in history as Damon's least favorite." 
• One MFHS teen is hurt and a lot of teenage supernatural creatures get injured in this one as well. 
• Silas is wearing every body in town leaving everyone vulnerable. Fans may catch "a passing glimpse of Silas' real face.
• "Bonnie gets a dance. Bonnie is pretty freaking spectacular in this episode. Kat Graham gives a standout performance as Bonnie rides a roller coaster of grief, anger, and power." 
• We will find out who wins the prom king and queen. We'll also see Elena do some, "campaigning" for Rebekah, her new roommate and only friend. 
• Elijah has decided to give Rebekah the cure, but only if she can go an entire night without using any of her vampire powers to prove that being human is what she really wants. 
• Matt is Bonnie and Caroline's date for prom. "The TVD prom episode is basically Matt po*n."
• Carina is not allowed to talk about Tyler or whether Matt/Rebekah share a dance but said Matt's views on Rebekah change.
• Klaroline have a "cute" scene together. She seeks him out for some friendly help.
