Today felt like giving a whack to the creatives...there is a limit to everything. Yes Dev is in shock and yes he is coping with the coma of Rohan but has he forgotten that Radhika was also in the fire...she was there in the room when the fire was burning...she had fainted there...can't she be in shock too? Or does that right only the psychos of Purohit family have? If his brother needs delicate handling then why can't Radhika get some care when she could have been barbecued in the cellar. Chunnu munnu in your zeal to show that Dev is under tremendous obligation...maybe he is carrying the mountain of obligation and sense of duty on his shoulder, you are crossing the line and making him inhuman...   and in which hospital does someone come and shout and thunder at a casualty victim...Please grow up creatives...

I have no words to share except THANK YOU...

They are bringing down Dev,s characterization...You are right Misti his behavior was inhuman , not for one moment came in to mind she can also be in trauma...Hope against hope to see change in the track...Radhika is from a small village , brought up in the old thinking where Pati is Parameshwar  , will go after him even if he  is  rude to  her or say become neutral  for the time being ...

The reason why Dev is throwing a tantrum at her is because he knows that this girl loves him crazily and so will take it...the others will give him a whack back...the mental and emotional abuse that he has grown up with, is now being projected at Radhika.
but Misti this is like a trick...whenever mom use to say dont do that ,dont eat that we are die to do that die to eat that things ...same here.. ..so dev babu is scolding her ..jaan lagake...but he knows she will love him more and more.. what a  smart guy yaar..LOL hai toh basically RP ..so does know  how to deal the business..

Kinara seeing this writing of the creativs, its reminding me of a poem of Sukumar Ray..I think this one was in Abol Tabol

Masi go masi pacche hasi
Neem gachete hocche sheem
Hatir matay byanger chata
Kager basay boger dim.

LOLLOL         yes it is...Another one i dont  know who the writer is..

Tattoo ghora parlo dim shiyaal dilo ta...jaano ei kobita ta..?

Horse laid eggs and fox is taking care of it ..its like rhyme it is very hard to describe in english neerja..i hope u get the picture

Here you go Kinara...reminding me of childhood...LOL

Misti, the funny thing is that they are not even copying CB1 here.  In CB1,  Radhika used to spurn Dev but when he would become sick, her tender feelings would come out.  Here,  what kind of spiritual love is this?  Two weeks ago, he was shown crazy about Radhika.  Now he doesn't have a compassion that his psycho brother almost killed her.  I actually fast forwarded his scene when he started screaming like a demented person.  He seemed like Rohan in that scene.

There is no spiritual love here...between Radhika and Dev...but there is between Dev and Rohan...see I told you yesterday that they finally decided to make a new show with spiritual love and the twist is, it is between Dev and Rohan...Wink...
ROFL

You know I only watched the first part and forwarded it after Dev started ranting and going crazy.   Then I calmed myself:  You are now Why6 and this is 1970s movie.  But realized that actually it is more like those 1960s mala Sinha type movies where the heroine would be treating her husband like God who would treat her like crap for 3 hours.  At the end of the movie,  the husband would suddenly improve, ask for forgiveness and the heroine would say that he had the right to do so as he was her God.  I think a lot of heroines were feisty in 1970s movie (remember Basanti from Sholay).

Anyway,  since I don't like those kind of movies and wanted a new age song,  I had to go to 1980s era (don't have any reference from 1990s and 2000's movies) to find an appropriate song (something does come up with watching all kind of C/D grade movies on TV when your high school and college exams are going on.  My ratio of watching crappy movies used to go up the more closer I came to exam date).

Ok this one is from movie:  Naseeb apna apna.  I could not find the song on youtube and so relying on memory.  I think it had Rishi Kapoor and Farha (second stylish wife) and somebody for the first wife (South Indian actress but can't remember her name).  The first wife sings the song to defend her husband to the second wife who is unaware that her the husband is  a cheater and she is the second wife.  So the husband is there, first wife is there and second wife is feeling compassionate with first wife and is angry at the husband for mistreating the first wife.

Radhika singing it to Kanha when Dev becomes really obnoxious and inhuman.

I have also  see this movie...

So...Rishi Kapoor character is Dev...Radhika is Radhika and Farha is Rohan...wah what  a twist chunnu munnu.Wink...but here the twist is that Dev will leave a wife for a platonic brother relationship...

Your story reminds me of a friend of mine...she passed her CA exam in India after her third attempt. Everytime she used to flunk, she used to go and watch any Govinda movie.Wink
Fortunately,  I passed in the first attempt.  The only time I almost failed was in my B.Sc. first semester.  Actually,  I used to do better if I studied at the last minute where I would waste first few days watching this type of movies, then sweat it out on the last day and night while vowing that next time I would do it differently.  I left the classy movies for after exam period.  They do not relax you before the exam.

I can see the value of Govinda and Karishma movies (those Khatiya type songs).  But personally wasn't a fan until I became friends with some girls who loved to sing those Govinda Rickshawwala songs when we would go on vacations.   But those were classy C/D grade movies.

I like your twist of Dev leaving the wife for platonic brother and Radhika singing that song.  Actually, it had a catchy tune and I used to hum it a lot.  I fell in love with those first two lines and believe they represent the "patni dharam" at its best.

Angie remember the movie Mujh se dosti karoge...well Rani Mukherjis character is Dev, Kareena is Rohan, Hritihk is Radhika and they will sing this medley.with badi bahu, padma, mohini and the others in the background...

Misti,  great choice for the movie and the medley.  Actually,  Uday Chopra is the Chanda of the show.  I am sure they are going to make Dev even more sadistic at some point.  So when he starts feeling weak towards Radhika, he would suddenly agree to marry Chanda to further punish Radhika.  Then this medley would be great because Chanda would be in the mix too.

I have another song for Radhika.  This one is from Koyla.  Here she too is married to a fake sadistic husband Amrish Puri.  She marries him thinking that she is marrying Shah Rukh Khan.  This song suits her.  The original is from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and is a much better song.  But this version is good too.  Here Shah Rukh Khan is a mute Dev who doesn't do anything to help Madhuri due to his mistaken obligations.  He later on becomes ferocious.  It has all favorite elements of Zee and DJs (burning and torturing the heroine etc.).  Radhika is Madhuri Dixit in this song and shares a spiritual relationship with SRK.  But he was more compassionate than Dev in the movie.

agree with all the above comments cv really went to far when they made him say words like mere dil mein tumahre lea koi humdardi nhee hai for gods sake she has gone thru as much trauma as rohan infact more rohan is in coma he does not know what is happening.
hope when dev asks for her forgiveness she lets him suffer for along time.

Misti

That reaction  is also because he feels betrayed that he felt that Radhika loves him and thinks she is his wife and will listen to him what ever he says and here she has broken his promise so all the more his shouting. He is disillusioned. I have not read the response hope I am not repeating.
