They are bringing down Dev,s characterization...You are right Misti his behavior was inhuman , not for one moment came in to mind she can also be in trauma...Hope against hope to see change in the track...Radhika is from a small village , brought up in the old thinking where Pati is Parameshwar  , will go after him even if he  is  rude to  her or say become neutral  for the time being ...

The reason why Dev is throwing a tantrum at her is because he knows that this girl loves him crazily and so will take it...the others will give him a whack back...the mental and emotional abuse that he has grown up with, is now being projected at Radhika.
but Misti this is like a trick...whenever mom use to say dont do that ,dont eat that we are die to do that die to eat that things ...same here.. ..so dev babu is scolding her ..jaan lagake...but he knows she will love him more and more.. what a  smart guy yaar..LOL hai toh basically RP ..so does know  how to deal the business..

I f look at the whole scenario feel sympathy for him  , but his todays shouting changed his character...He could have shown his displeasure with suppressed anger, not going in to loud expressions ...May be he is at the brink of loosing his sanity , one side Padma ,s sorrow other side Rohan in precarious condition...Other two are in plotting planning ...Creatives should handle Dev,s character carefully  now,  they have left thin line turning him in to Villain  ...Feeling sympathy towards Dev has termed to cruelty to wards Radhika ...

Misti, the funny thing is that they are not even copying CB1 here.  In CB1,  Radhika used to spurn Dev but when he would become sick, her tender feelings would come out.  Here,  what kind of spiritual love is this?  Two weeks ago, he was shown crazy about Radhika.  Now he doesn't have a compassion that his psycho brother almost killed her.  I actually fast forwarded his scene when he started screaming like a demented person.  He seemed like Rohan in that scene.

Thats true. Although Rads in CB1 had always kept a cold attitude towards Dev and never reciprocated his feelings...yet she never was so inhuman...infact she went to extremes for his welfare always!! She would nurse him tenderly, get worried for him when he wasnt around...or when he didnt eat...etc. Here Dev is going insane with Sacrificing thing!!

Oh seems thats what they meant by being opposite of CB1!LOL Angry

Yes being mental with Radhika and adoring his soulmate...Rohan.Wink

If it was real life then he will also suffer later...but the reigns of this show are with Chunnu munnu and they will make Radhika bow down and accept whatever Dev dishes out...its sawre ke rang rachi...and thats what that sentence means in the chunnu munnu's pea sized brains.

Agree with your point, he is surrounded by his obligations from all sides , just seems to be near the breaking point as does not have anyone to share his feelings what he is going through ...But somehow have this feeling , is something fishy is going on with Dev,s Character...

they are bringing him down for their next twist...that was their favourite game with Radhika in season one.

There is no spiritual love here...between Radhika and Dev...but there is between Dev and Rohan...see I told you yesterday that they finally decided to make a new show with spiritual love and the twist is, it is between Dev and Rohan...Wink...
ROFL

You know I only watched the first part and forwarded it after Dev started ranting and going crazy.   Then I calmed myself:  You are now Why6 and this is 1970s movie.  But realized that actually it is more like those 1960s mala Sinha type movies where the heroine would be treating her husband like God who would treat her like crap for 3 hours.  At the end of the movie,  the husband would suddenly improve, ask for forgiveness and the heroine would say that he had the right to do so as he was her God.  I think a lot of heroines were feisty in 1970s movie (remember Basanti from Sholay).

Anyway,  since I don't like those kind of movies and wanted a new age song,  I had to go to 1980s era (don't have any reference from 1990s and 2000's movies) to find an appropriate song (something does come up with watching all kind of C/D grade movies on TV when your high school and college exams are going on.  My ratio of watching crappy movies used to go up the more closer I came to exam date).

Ok this one is from movie:  Naseeb apna apna.  I could not find the song on youtube and so relying on memory.  I think it had Rishi Kapoor and Farha (second stylish wife) and somebody for the first wife (South Indian actress but can't remember her name).  The first wife sings the song to defend her husband to the second wife who is unaware that her the husband is  a cheater and she is the second wife.  So the husband is there, first wife is there and second wife is feeling compassionate with first wife and is angry at the husband for mistreating the first wife.

Radhika singing it to Kanha when Dev becomes really obnoxious and inhuman.

Bura hai bhala hai, jaisa bhi hai
mera pati to mera devta hai...

@Why6: Yes. i know this film...had watched it once while nothing was there on T.V during a vacation.  The film was a remake of a tamil film with the leading lady being same. Rishi Kapoor and Farha Khan were obviously only in Hindi...actress Radhika(who was the village woman, the first wife of the man) was repeated in both films.

Even in that film, after everything that Rishi did...Radhika accepted him atlast...well, and i guess, Farha died na? dun remember. But Rishi feels guilty and is forgiven impromptu!

Yes Rishi Kapoor was very selfish and self-centered husband who discards his village wife because she is not modern enough and marries Farha who is both rich and beautiful.  Farha doesn't know that this guy is a polygomist.  Anyway, somehow the first wife lands there and is insulted a lot by the husband.  She is given asylum by Farha out of goodness of her heart.  Farha first wants her to divorce her cheating husband but after listening to this song relents.  She then makes her modern and once the first wife is modern,  Rishi Kapoor becomes possessive and starts exercising her rights on her and gets angry with her when she even talks to another guy.

Finally, the ending was Farha kills herself but forgives him before dying.  the first wife is happy to now get her husband back.  Funny thing was that it was a big hit of 1980s and they said so on TV.  I watched it despite my disgust because the choice was between watching it or studying.
