Written update
I missed the starting part around two minutes but that will not have any impact on the update below.
Scene 1 ' Crime site
Father Matinee is holding a person in a graveyard who is about to die. A man is watching all these hiding behind with shocked expressions, the person dies and father's clothes are strained with his blood. He checks the dead man's bag but finds nothing and then calls someone and tells him that Jagtap is murdered so inform the police soon.
Scene 2 ' church
Father is on the balcony of the church and there is one white car parked outside the church, father and Neil notice this. Neil informs him that there is someone in the confession box. Father asks Neil whether he saw him to which Neil replies that he just heard his/her sneeze. Father visits the box and the confession scene is not shown at that time.
Scene 3 ' Crime site
Inspector Dave is near the dead body having three wounds in a line and of same depth. The policemen catch the man who was watching father and Jagtap. He is franko who tells that father murdered this man and he saw him. Dave is shocked.
Scene 4 ' church
Dave visits the church and faces father. He tells him that he has come to, Dave didn't complete his statement as father replied in the middle that he knows he has come to arrest him in Jagtap Tiwari's murder. He was waiting for him only.
Scene 5 ' KD's Office
Mrs. Vilomoria asks KD that in which god he believes to which KD replies that he believes in Human and Humanity. Then there is a knock on the door and a lady enters seeing whom Mrs. Vilomoria is surprised and happy. She says that the lady is the famous dancer of something(she mispronounced so I don't remember her words). The lady corrects her and says Bharatnatyam. KD tells the lady that don't feel bad because she is like that only. The lady Mrs. Sudha Krishnan is seated and she tells KD that she wants him to fight Father's case. KD asks her that what's the relation between father and her to which she refused to answer. She also told that this should be a secret that she has appointed him to fight the case. Sudha takes out a blank check and after putting signature she gives it to KD. KD replies that he doesn't like all these and this is done mainly for wrong purposes.
Scene 6 ' KD meets Father in the Lockup
KD meets father in the jail and tells him about Sudha as father had asked him and he can't lie. He asks father about his and father's relation to which father replies him that he would feel good if he doesn't ask all these. KD agrees. Father tells him that he knows who the murderer is as he/she confessed his/her crime in the confession box. KD says that then there isn't any problem then, you tell me about the person and I'll get the proof in the court. Father replies that his principles don't allow him to do so. The confession must be a secret.
Scene 7 ' Court Proceedings
As usual Maya dictates the crime. Jagtap Tiwari was the person who was murdered and was a photographer. She calls Franko in the witness box and he tells that he saw father with Jagtap's dead body. Then Maya gives some proofs which included DNA report about the blood strained cloths of father. A fingerprint report which proved that father had checked the Dead Man's bag. Then she shows a candle stand which was the murder weapon used to commit the crime.
Three people enter the court along with Inspector Dave. They are Mrs. Sudha Krishnan, her husband Mr. Madhav Krishnan and a lady who is Sudha's friend Miss Girija. All three are very famous people in the city. Maya thanks Dave for bringing them. KD tells the court that father knows the murderer but can't tell them. While Sudha is sitting in the court, KD notices that Franko is continuously looking at her ornaments. Mrs. Sudha is called in the witness box. Father is asked again by Maya about their relation to which Sudha explains that their relationship existed. She tells that 10 years ago she met Matinee in a party and after sometime they started liking each other.
Then one day she heard that Matinee died in a plane crash. Her family members fixed her marriage and now she is very happy with her husband. Maya shows a photograph to the Judge of Sudha and Matinee which was a year old. Sudha replies that when she came to know that Matinee was alive she decided to meet him once and talk to him. Maya asks why at such a far place. Sudha replies that she decided that place because less people come there and she feared that someone may recognize her. Then suddenly Jagtap came and clicked a photograph without their knowledge. Father explains that he was alive in the plane crash but was in comma in a hospital. When he came back he was depressed knowing all the truth and so decided to live a life like this and forgive Sudha. Sudha tells sorry to her husband as because of her he is here now.
Scene 8 ' KD confronts Father in the Lockup
KD asks father that if someone else was there in the church except him. Father's face is on the focus.
Scene 9 ' KD's visit to church
KD sits in the church and prays. He gets up and removes his shoes to enter the confession box which is full of dust. He starts coughing. After having a look on everything there he comes out, wears his shoes and sits on the bench. Neil comes there and sits beside him. KD asks him that if he didn't see anyone in the confession box then how did he come to know that there is a person? Neil replies that he heard someone sneezing. KD again asks that what was the medium through which the person visited the church. Neil replied that he saw a white car outside the church.
Scene 10 ' Court Proceedings
Franko is called in the witness box and then KD asks father that did he know him. Judge asks KD that how did he know that father knew franko? KD replies that Franko took police to father in just 40 minutes and this can be done only by a person who knows about father that where to find him. Father replies that he knew him as he visited church to pray. KD again asks him that did he know franko was a thief? Father agrees.
Then KD tells franko that his habit of chewing nails as very bad, he found his nails in the church near the candle stand's position. Franko is shocked. KD tells court that Franko stole the candle stand by which Jagtap was murdered. Franko agreed and told that he was given money for this work and raised his hand towards Miss Girija. Maya interrupts but KD tells that if Franko stole the candle stand then how can Father use that as a murder weapon?
Franko explains that he gave the candle stand to Girija and she had a meeting with Jagtap. When she went to meet him he was waiting and when Girija came back she was too annoyed and her bag was not with her. Maya tells that Girija is a famous lady in the city and why she will do this? KD tells her that the candle stand is of 19th century and it's current market price is up to 8-10 lacks. Girija is in the witness box, KD shows a photograph and tells that Jagtap was a blackmailer and was blackmailing her too. In the photograph Girija is purchasing something from a smuggler.
Girija agrees that Jagtap was seeking money from her too. That day she gave him a cheque but he refused and snatched that candle stand from her and went away. KD said that after that she pressed that into his stomach. Girija said that she didn't murder him. KD read a car's number and it was her car standing outside the church. She said that she went there to drop Sudha.
KD says now he understood that why father refused to take the person's name. Madhav says that Sudha was not there in the city that day, they went to Kolkata. He shows Boarding passes, hotel details, Bill etc. KD asks why he took Sudha with him. Madhav replied that they went to Victoria Memorial and were there from 5:00 Pm to 7:00 Pm. KD tells that he also went there one day and found out that it's closed at 5:00 Pm, then what he was doing in the closed place. Madhav told him that they were outside in the garden not inside. KD asked him that he must have gone with a raincoat to which Madhav replied No. KD clarifies that on that day there was a heavy rain on many areas and Victoria memorial too. All the proofs are fake and can be achieved on credits of money.
Madhav is speechless and Sudha gets up saying that Madhav can't lie any more because of her. She is in the witness box and tells that she killed Jagtap as she was sick of his blackmailing. KD refuses to believe her and asks father that was Sudha there in the confession box? Father replies-No. KD takes out something full of dust and tells father that church's confession box is not clean as expected. Then he beats his hand on the dusty material and dust is produced.
A sneeze is heard, Neil gets up and shouts that he heard this sneeze only that day. Madhav was the person who had sneezed and thus was unmasked. He tells the court that he noticed that Sudha's account balance was going down day by day. One day he heard her talking to Jagtap and decided to do something without telling her. He went to meet him that day and accidentally the candle stand was pushed inside his stomach. He took the candle stand and went to the church by Auto. There he placed the candle stand and removed his finger prints and confessed his crime. Then he tells Sudha that he always believed her and will continue the same. KD tells the court that Sudha had faith that Madhav committed the crime and so she was taking the blame on her. Court gives freedom to father and 6 years imprisonment to Madhav. KD raised his finger towards Maya smiling. Father asks KD what does KD mean to which he replies the he will tell him but in the confession box so that he will not tell someone else.
