'Welcome.' he smiled. 'From further on, don't let Panchi force you to wear what you don't want to wear.'

Again, he left her shocked. How does he always seem to know? She asked herself again.

Chapter 5

Misha: 'Where in the world are they?'

Panchi: 'Right question would be 'Has he even found her yet?'

Sid: 'Obviously he has.'

Panchi: 'How exactly would you know that?'

Sid: 'He's my brother. Of course I know her.'

Misha: 'Dude, shut up and answer properly.'

Sid: 'Fine. If you had eyes, you both would know.

Both: 'WHAT?'

Sid: 'Gosh, just look up.'

They looked up and the saw both of their figure which was facing their back. Both of them were on the terrace. For a while, both sisters forgot that they were mad at Abhay and Pia and just kept looking at them. Abhay was giving his jacket to Pia.

Their mouths were gaping. Sid walked in front of both of them and brought them back to reality by closing their mouths.

Panchi: 'I think I am dreaming.'

Misha: 'For once, I agree with you.'

Panchi: 'Since when did Abhay become caring towards girls? Especially Pia?'

Misha: 'Ya. As far as I know, both of them always used to fight when they were young.'

Sid: 'Time changes everything.'

Now both gaped at Sid. Both were thinking, 'Now, when did he start talking so philosophically?'

Sid: 'Stop gaping and finish eating. They closed their gaping mouth by putting a spoon of rice in their mouths.

Abhay: 'Well, I was looking for you only.'

Pia: 'Why me?'

Abhay explained: 'Both your sisters are looking for you. I decided to check here and bingo, I found you.'

Pia confused, 'How did you know I would be here?'

Abhay: 'Not hard to guess when not just long ago, you were coming in from cold. Downstairs, it's not as cold as it is up here.'

Pia: 'Yea.' She realized that everything he was saying was true. 'Well, then I think we should head downstairs.'

Abhay didn't want to go just yet. But he knew that he just can't hold on to things. He had to let go. He said, 'You're right.'

Pia started walking in front of Abhay. As she was walking, everything seemed to go round. She was stumbling. In few seconds, she couldn't walk straight and her legs gave up on her.

Abhay rushed to her rescue and caught her right before she fell down. She was perpendicular to the floor and Abhay leaning on her in order to stop her from falling. His hands holding her tenderly from her waist. He got lost in her innocent face. Seeing her fall suddenly, made him worried. Worry lines could clearly be seen on his face. He touched her forehead and felt the sudden urge to move them. Her skin was burning with fever.

Without thinking again, he picked her up in his arms and cautiously climbed down the stairs. He quickly laid her down on his bed and turned the fire on and called the doctor before informing everyone else. Once the doctor was on his way, he informed other and at once, all the guests' left and family members rushed into Abhay's room.

Concern for Pia could be seen on everyone's face. The doctor came and she did the checking's. She said, 'Nothing to worry about. It's a high fever. Probably due to sudden weather change. It's getting cold and she shouldn't be wearing such clothes at this time of season. When she wakes up, give her this medicine and first make sure she eats. If things get bad, give me a call.'

Arnab: 'Thank you so much doctor for coming in. Come, I'll escort you out.' Arnab and she went out.

Doctor: 'Sir, one question.'

Arnab (getting worried): 'Yes doctor? It's nothing to worry about. Right?'

Doctor: 'I can't tell right now. It's different then anything I have encountered. Tell me, has she been eating properly.'

Arnab: 'Yes doctor. Absolutely. Just today she hadn't had lunch.'

Doctor: 'Any special reason?'

'Not that I know of.'

'Don't get me wrong Mr. Dobrial. This is my friend's card. I would suggest you go meet her. She would better be able to tell you the reason for Pia's sudden state. What I said inside is not all a lie. It could be because of the sudden change in weather. I'm still not sure though.'

Arnab: 'Yes doctor. I understand. I'll try to convince Pia. Thank you.'

Nodding, she left. Abhay had heard their whole conversation. He was definitely worried for Pia but also, at the same time, wondered what could be wrong.

Chand: It's better if she stays here. Won't be nice if she's disturbed right now.'

Arnab: 'That's true. I'll stay here just in case.'

Chand: 'Don't worry Arnab. I'll make sure she reaches home safely by tomorrow.'

Arnab: 'I know I can trust you. It's just that... Well, never mind. What's done is done. She'll be much better if she stays here tonight.'

Abhay: 'You're right about that uncle. Don't worry. I'll keep checking on her myself.'

Arnab: 'Thank you son. Now I can go without any worry.'

Dobrial's retired for their house having full faith in Raichands.

Abhay: 'Mom, dad, you both go and rest. You look lot tired.'

Haseena: 'But Abhay, Pia?'

Abhay: 'Don't worry about her. I'm here na. I'll take care of her.'

Chand: 'If you need us, don't hesitate to call us. Okay?'

Abhay: 'Sure dad.' Chand and Haseena went away. Sid was still there. 

He said, 'Bro, do you need me or can I go? I have college tomorrow.'

Abhay: 'Yes, I know. You also go and rest. I'll be fine.'

Sid: 'Ok bro. Good night.'

Abhay wished him good night as well and silently closed the door as he left. He pulled up a chair next to the bed after covering Pia with a blanket and rising up the heat. 

He was so not used to heat. As in London, it used to be cold and he liked it that way. He knew better thought. Right now, what Pia needed was warmth and even when the room was this warm, he could see her shivering a little. 

He still had to get used to time change in zones. Thus, he wasn't sleepy much. He pulled out his laptop and did few things in there like surfing the net and listening to music. When he finally felt sleepy, he put aside the laptop and took out another blanket from the cub-board.  

The couch in his room was definitely too small for him. He found the chair much more comfortable and  laying his head on the chair-rest, closed his eyes. It was almost mid night. He had taken out a blanket but didn't cover himself because he was obviously not feeling cold at all. 

Two hours passed. Pia's fever went down. But not much. Her skin was still burning. She opened her eyes feeling her throat dry. Opening her eyes, it took her few moments to seep in where she was exactly. She realized it was Abhay's room as she saw same paintings around the walls as she had when she first came in. She felt weak. When she tried to turn the glass so that she can pour in water, it dropped. 

Luckily, it didn't hurt her. It was of glass but it fell on floor making Abhay jump out of his sleep. He looked straight at Pia and then looked at shattered glass on the floor. 'Pia, you're ok?'

She nodded as best as she could. Taking another glass, he poured in water and had her drink it. Then, touching her forehead, he could still see that she had high fever. 

'At least your fever seems to have gone down a little. Here, take this medicine.'

She made a 'yuck' face. She hated taking medicines. 

Abhay: 'So, I can see you still hate taking medicines? Well, no choice. Take them by your will or I'll have to force you to take it.'

She looked at him sharply and said in the best voice that she could, 'No one has dared to force Pia for anything.'

'Then you wouldn't want to break your own record. Now, would you?' he replied smartly. 

'I AM NOT GOING TO TAKE THOSE DISGUSTING MEDICINES' she replied with a stern voice. Weakness could still be heard in her voice though. 

'Don't say you didn't call for it now.' he said and slowly started moving close to her. Getting scared, she moved little in bed until she was at the edge of it and couldn't move anymore. Abhay right beside her. She leaned back as Abhay closed the distance in between their faces. 

Both started into each other's eyes. Pia's eyes reflected fear while weakness and innocence while Abhay's eyes reflected determination and passion. Abhay knew very well the effect he had on her. Pia was sure that she would pass out if he came any more closer. His smell was too intoxicating and hard to resist. 

Seeing her, he said slowly with a teasing voice, 'You wouldn't want me to come any closer?'

Pia snapped out and she couldn't push away the hard body of Abhay that was almost on top of her. She struggled while saying, 'Move.'

'Then have your medicines.'

'Ugh!' she thought. 'You have no other choice Pia.' she said to herself. Giving Abhay a death glare, she snatched the piece of pill from his hand. Her eyes said, 'I'll-get-back-at-you-for-this!'

As she was about to put it in her mouth, Abhay caught her wrist. She looked at him with questioning eyes. He said, 'These are too strong. Doc said to have half.'

Taking them from her hand he broke it in half and handed them back to her. She swallowed and drank up the whole glass. Then she demanded, 'Now get me something sweet to it.'

Abhay: 'What?'

Pia: 'You don't expect me to keep this yucky taste in my mouth, right? Give me something sweet. And it has to be something that i absolutely love.'

Abhay: 'What? Where am I supposed to get you sweets at this time of the night?'

Pia: 'That is what you should have thought before forcing me to have that.'
