*Adi comes running in just as Sid is about to bite Panchhi*
Adi (shocked): Bro-in-law!!!!!! What are you doing?!!!!!!!
Sid (sadly): Hi! My name is Siddharth Mehra, and I cannot think on an empty stomach.
Adi: Oho....are you hungry again?
Sid: Yeah....Abhay didn't let me make Pia my meal na.
Adi: Hmm...oh well, let's feed you first, then we will see what to do with Pia.
Sid (happily): Yay!!!!
Adi (to the readers): So friends, I will teach you all, and my hungry bro-in-law here how to cook Birdie Wings - raw meat ain't healthy you see!
First, note down the ingredients.......
Sid (interrupting): May I?
Adi: Of course!
Sid (turning to the readers): Here we go....!!
Ingredients
Birdie (whole) 1 no.
Cardamom (do we really need it?)
Jeera (this too?)
Turmeric (bas!)
Onions (ugh)
Salt (*sighs*)
Sugar (she's already sweet yaar!)
All other spices (enough now..I'm HUNGRYYYY!!!)
Adi: What about the pots and pans Sid?
Sid: What are pots and pans?
Adi: Umm...they are what we cook stuff in.
Sid: I dunno. Never got any. I have never bought stuff, you know.
Adi (sighing): Anyway, first you take the Birdie....
Sid (happily): And then you eat it!
Adi (snatching away the Birdie): Noooooooooo! Then you wash it!
Sid: Kyun? Woh nahaati nahin kya?
Adi: Chup!
Sid: Okie.
Adi: Then, you marinate the Birdie with curd and spices and keep for at least an hour.
Sid: A whole hour? I'll faint!!!!!!!!
[One hour later. Sid is dancing around drunkenly. Adi takes out the Birdie.]
Adi: No you fry the onions and spices in oil.
Sid (pouring oil on the burner): Like so?
Adi (running to stop him): Nooooooooo!!!!!!!
[Sid switches on the burner. It catches fire.
2 house shifts later....]
Sid: Now?
Adi (angrily): Now I do the cooking. *takes a deep breath* Now. We fry the onions and the spices. Then we add tomatoes and the veggies.
Sid: Yuck!
Adi: It's healthy!
Sid (crying): Mujhe nahin khaani.
Adi: Achha side pe rakh dena.
Sid (happily): Okie!
Adi: Now we add the Birdie to the pan and allow to cook for twenty minutes.
[After 20 minutes.]
Adi: Now take it out and serve on a platter!
Sid: You forgot the garnishing.
Adi: Um...we don't have..
Sid: Yes, we do!!!!!!! Ye roses kab kaam aayenge?!
Adi: Great!!! Toh yeh ho gaya humaara Birdie Wings ready!!!
