Ranbir drops off Manjari and Akshay.
Mallika gets worried when she sees Ranbir.
Mallika lies that she had a meeting with the writer. And Ranbir feels bad for suspecting that she was lying to him/cheating on him.
Ranbir explains to her that he met Manjari and Akshay on the way and that Manjari had told him that she had seen Mallika in the restaurant with some man.
Mallika is not happy to hear that.
She leaves bidding bye/goodnight to Ranbir.

As Manjari and Akshay are putting the sponges down on the floor, they're hands touch. They share a moment together.
Manjari and Akshay think about how different and awkward it was around each other now. "Ajeeb si khamoshi"
Manjari thinks back to old times and also when Anu told her that her and Akshay were like husband and wife. Manjari doesn't understand what she's feeling but she likes the feeling. Akshay asks her what she was thinking. "Yahi na, ki ghar ke liye, khab takh bahane bahana para gi?"
Manjari says yes.
Mallika fumes over the fact that Manjari was a challenge to her which was a new thing.
The two, Manjari and Akshay are talking when Mallika storms into the office. She sees the two laying there in the cafe. Mallika is shocked and angry at the same time.
But as she thinks about what she could do, she is very satisfied.
The next morning, in the office Mallika calls out to Manjari in the hallways. Mallika bullies her, literally. She lets out the fact that Manjari had told Ranbir about Mallika having dinner with someone else. Manjari tries to explain herself but Mallika stops her. She leaves by saying good luck.
Priyanka and the other girl talk to Mallika wondering what she was doing with Manjari. Mallika explains the situation. And she compliments herself. She also talks about how if her career failed, she would get married to Ranbir. She would then handle his company.
Mallika says something about helping Manjari.
PRECAP: Mallika reveals in front of everybody that Akshay and Manjari don't have a house to live in.
