answer.....chapan means 56 and on janamashtmi day, which is bal gopal's b'day(Lord krishna's bday), 56 different varieties of food items - sweet,salty, rice preparations, and a whole lot of beautiful preparations- are offered as BHOG to bal gopal n hence the name -CHAPAN BHOG

My Dear...Foram n Tina...This virtual 'Bhog ka Ladoo' is only available at the temple of 'Star One'!!😛 And I guess u guys know the prashad distribution timing very well...lolz...😆 Edited by ankita1605 - 13 years ago
