That was just a really weird episode.
I really don't know how to explain it. But this episode is worth discussing so much! Yipee for that! The change in dynamics, surroundings and the dialogues used in the last 6 minutes or so had me well and truly feeling a little weird. Btw, the last few mins were brilliant! What was so good about this episode was that it reflects each and every one of our lives. Why? Family problems and the resulting consequences.Yes LTL is fiction, and Kala is extreme in terms of the hatred she possesses for Dutta. However, every extended family has problems etc....not everyone gets along, there's a fall out and then there's a period where you have to force yourself to let bygones be bygones and make that step towards reconciliation. That episode gave that whole feeling, especially in PN.
That was a real quick transition to PN, and it was only yesterday I was thinking that even if I had assumed we would get PN back on Friday, there would be a slight possibility that they would shift scene quickly to PN- that is exactly what happened! The way things moved today, points to 1 thing only - the TB article is turning out to be true. That can't be denied.
Madhu's line: Apne mera dat.....
instead of Dad
I mean seriously, this is by no means a way of offending anyone, but how jarring did that sound?!
Kala's gun let her down, giving the opportunity to let everyone open their mouths
Roops out of nowhere managed to say that line : Jo bura na samjhe.....a little weird, too much ishara going on
kinda off again....
LOVED Dutta as the one in control again...oh Kala was well and truly dumbfounded. But clearly, she has no problem in killing Dutta, no Sir. The anger with which she threw the gun away
, failure again, almost the expression of her annoyance and anger at everything going down the drain. The way Dutta smiled at hearing Mahadev and the villagers chanting his name was truly endearing. Loved the authority but respect with which he told everyone to calm down. How Dutta like was it though when he told them that the enemy had run away? He would rather deal with his sister by himself, rather than make it a public viewing. Absolutely loved that scene.
The first minute of the PN scene, I wasn't truly captivated. I was aware that dialogues were being said, but nothing STOOD OUT. I think the main reason for this was this scene was putting forward questions in my head : What exactly should be done with Kala? How should justice be served? Is this how the question-answering session be? And then, Kala said those dialogues about 'shaadi' about Suds kaminapan...and that was when the scene clicked. And I got it
Hawwww!!!! Kala's cracking line: Tera pati toh padaishee kameena tha
BRILLIANT! The way Suds closed his eyes at the sound of that....the way
Kala composed herself again in PN, ready to face the onslaught as if
nothing happened out there was truly something. But there was fear in
here eyes, tears almost, itching to drop down. Kishore was fabulous. The most important line : tune aaj tak koi rishta nibhaya nahi.
What stood out for me was Dutta had NO IDEA what to do with her. He left it to AS, rather discuss her jurms. How much bitterness was in that retort to Madhu by Kala : Tere pitta ne mere pitta ka khoon kiya tha- yeh mat bhulna' -
that is the crux of her hatred and is repeated through and through. Looked like Madhu hit a nerve
As AS talked about her being the wife of Kala's dad, I loved the twist in the head by Dutta, as if to TRY and understand her, just that usual head roll he does. The way with he said 'tera parda fash kardoon'
and the hand movement he used as if to open the curtains- too goooddd.
There's 1 problem I had when deciphering whether Suds was truly sorry. I think I came to the conclusion that at the end of the day, when the second worst thing to death arrives in your life, then yeah, anyone would do what Suds did. It was more in fear of losing everything and facing Dutta's wrath. So engrossed was Sumit Kaul that saliva dropped out of his mouth! 'Leellluuuuu'
I think Dutta pretty much took his anger out by giving do laate to Suds, just loved that. The way with which Dutta closed his eyes and nodded his head in Leela's plea to give Suds a chance was beautifully done by MR.
Again, ek behen ka samne, koi bhi bhai will rather attempt to save a relationship then break it- a natural reaction I think. No way would Dutta have treaded the path of destroying his sister's marriage...whether this decision comes back to haunt him, remains to be seen. Finally Dutta addressed Naku lol! Just a very nicely etched episode....
Precap: Gave the sense that things are being rushed a little no? Again the TB article comes into play. So I'm assuming thats their SR- I guess now that they will be 1, Dutta vanishing when Naku has given herself to him completely, justifies the mental hona track haina?
