Piya felt very strange
regarding Abhay's behaviour' It had been 2 months she had known him and his
behaviour changed everyday'rather every hour'may be every minute! As she was
getting ready, various questions muddled up in her mind! On one hand, she had a
strange infatuation for him' she herself didn't understand what the feeling was
and what name did the world give to such feelings' Was it Love or mere
infatuation'? She knew Abhay was waiting for her and so she hurried up. She
gulped the glass of milk and when she came out'she saw he was waiting for her'
Abhay- Let's go!
Piya- umm' Piya felt
strange' she wasn't really sure that if she could trust Abhay with their
friendship anymore'
Abhay insisted- Chalo' what
you're waiting for?!
Piya- umm'.nothing! chalo!
In the car, She wasn't
really sure as to how to a conversation with him'he had made things so
complicated'It was really awful' Abhay sensed hesitation and made Piya's work
easier'
Abhay- kuch kehna hai?
Piya- umm'
Abhay- Say it!
Piya- You said we shouldn't
be friends'you're not safe for me! And now you're like'you know'umm'hanging out
with me'it's umm' strange!
Abhay smiled- Yeah'!
Actually I said we shouldn't be friends not that I don't want to be your
friend'you're a sweet girl'You get it?
Piya- hmm'
Abhay still looked straight
forward' no change in his expression'
Piya looked lost'she
thought-Shouldn't be friends'not that he doesn't want to be? What does this
mean now? Abhay shook her when she realized that they had already reached the
College'
Abhay- Lost..huh?
Piya- No'revising some
notes'
Abhay made her come out of
the car and escorted her to the class-room' Piya just gazed at him. All this
while'she kept on thinking'Abhay's strange behaviour' When the class was
over'she confronted him again'
Piya- I need to talk to you!
Can We? She pointed out at the Coffee Shop where their friendship had
blossomed'
Abhay- hmm' Okay!
COFFEE SHOP-
Piya and Abhay took a
comfortable seat by the window. She wanted to speak to him'
Piya- I want some answers'
Abhay- Like what?
Piya- Can we start afresh
with our friendship'I mean'you're a great friend'I can't loose you just like
that' Please!
Abhay- That wouldn't be
safe'
Piya- Please'I beg! Her tone
almost would have broken down if Abhay hadn't held her hand and consoled her'
Abhay remained silent for a
long time which made Piya restless'
Piya- So?
Abhay- hmm' okay'we can try!
A wide smile swept across
her lips' Abhay felt so delighted. Piya shook his hands and continued with her
coffee!
Piya- So what about'. Our
history Project' that was when you disappeared!
Abhay- agar tumhe Pandher
Fort jaana hai then you go alone'or take Kabir or Misha with you'I just don't
like the ambiance of the Fort' I hope you understand
Piya didn't argue further'
After all, she had got Abhay back recently!- yeah! That's fine! Absolutely
okay!
Abhay relaxed- Thanks!
Piya- Anytime!
After the coffee, they went
to a local mall and shopped for some of the dresses for Panchi's marriage' Piya
bought a nice sherwani for Abhay'
Misha ringed Piya'
Misha- Kahaan ho? We are
practising'you coming?
Piya- umm' me busy yaar!
Will practise tomorrow! Sorry!
Misha heard Abhay's voice
and understood everything- hmm'okay! Apni date enjoy karo!
Piya- Shut up Mishes' okay
bye!
Misha- bye!
They walked leisurely along
the footpath chatting with each other and then had dinner together at a Chinese
Restaurent!
Piya- tum kuch nahi loge?
Abhay- umm'nahi'mujhe bahar
ke khaane se allergy hai!
Piya- oh! Koi baat nahi'
Cold- Drink to pee sakte ho na?
Abhay- Mujhe achchi nahi
lagti!
Piya was shocked- seriously?
Abhay smiled- yes!
Piya munched her noodles and
Manchurian while Abhay just watched her smiling and relishing each variety of
food!
He dropped her back home at
about 11:00 pm and returned back'
The Dobriyals were already
asleep except for Misha who anxiously waited for Piya to return!
Misha- kya kiya? Kiss kiya?
I love you bola?
Piya closed her mouth and
then fisted her'
Piya- tu pagal hai kya'hum
log project discuss karne gaye the'dumbo! Idiot! Fool! Kuch bhi samajh leti
hai'
Misha- project koi raat ke
gyarah baje tak discuss karta hai kya?
Piya- tumhe kya samajh
aayega! Tumne to apne project abhi tak likha bhi nahi' tum kya samjhogi!
Misha- umm'.waise you're
right! Chalo sone chalet hain'
Piya- hmm!
Piya stretched herself and
went into a deep slumber-
She was lying on the same gloomy scene'
Orchids and lilies blooming and raining! The shadow was pellucid this time'his
eyes were visible'quite clear that they were Abhay's eyes! She drew near him'
She asked him- Is that you Abhay? He smiled' She felt blissful' She went near
him'She felt him' It was cold'she quivered! The shadow advance towards her
cheeks and caressed her. She felt divine!
Piya moved comfortably in
her dreams' Someone stood watching her sleep' She was so happy and joyous'she
had got back her best friend! The feeling was mind-boggling' She had started
loving him' She knew that somewhere in her sub-conscious mind'but her actual
conscious mind would take some time to register and agree to the fact' In the
midst of her dreams, she got a strange feeling that someone was watching her.
That made her wake up suddenly. When she looked around, she saw Abhay by the
window' Before she could call him'he was gone' She felt a tickle'she giggled
again'
She dozed off again and woke
up directly at Misha's call. It was a big day that day! There final rehearsal
at Dehradun which was to be inspected by the Principal before they left for Delhi. She was very
excited that day'
As soon as they reached the
venue, they found Abhay was already waiting for them' the Principal came soon
and they showed their first dance performance' They wore their dresses
accordingly' Piya wore a black, elegant gown and Abhay wore a black coat with a
sexy red tie'! He looked hot!
The music soon caught up
pace and Abhay and Piya swayed along the tune of 'I am in Love'
They swayed to the dance
moves and their eye-lock looked mesmerising' They were lost in each other'
forgetting the outside world'the band'their Principal watching' She whispered
to Abhay' Its beautiful song na! Abhay
lifted her up for the next beat
He murmured- Its really romantic' Misha'who was
really close to Kabir..whispered to him'Dude!
They look so perfect'divine'cutest! Kabir nodded'
Kabir replied- Piya is so happy and smiling when he is
around her' She looks different! Misha replied almost suddenly- hmm. I know dude! They continued with
their tune while Piya and Abhay matched steps to the beat'
When the performance ended,
Principal applauded and gave a standing ovation' Misha made Piya clap'that's
what when both of them realized that the song was over' She whispered in Piya's
ear- Piya! That was so romantic! Cool
dude! You were fantabulous! Piya replied back- Thanks Meeshes! Misha
noticed that Piya was still holding Abhay's hand and so she poked her- Waise'ab haath chod sakti ho! Piya
blushed and left Abhay's hand'
Panchi and Sid'who were
watching the dress rehearsal ran and hugged Piya and Misha for their
awesome-blossom performance' They even hugged Abhay and thanked him for taking
out the group from the trouble when the group lacked a male performer' They
even invited Abhay to join for dinner they had arranged for the band...
