Geet is sleeping in her room although it is already 10:00 in the morning. She hadn't been able to sleep the entire night thinking of Maan and at 5:00 in the morning, her body gave up and she went into deep slumber. Rano and Geet's father are worried thinking if Geet is ill.
ji aap ja kar dekhiye naa Geet ko, das baj rahe hai aur abhi tak so rahi hai... Kahin uski tabiyat to nahi kharab ho gayii- rano begged Geet's father.
achcha aap chinta na karen...itne dino baad apne ghar aayii hai...thaki ho gi...sone dijiye...(looking at rano's tensed face) theek hai...main ja kar dekhta hoon aap pareshan na ho....

Geet's father entered her room finding that Geet was sleeping. He felt her forehead. She was fine. He sighed in relief. This woke up Geet-Arey papaji, aap..itni subah..good morning papaji!! . She hugged her father tightly. She had missed his scent, his touch, his love for 2 long years!. Geet hurriedly went downstairs where she saw some thals being loaded with sarees, mithai, jewellery. Mammaaa!!! Mammma!!! Kahan ho aap? Yeh sab tayyari kis liye? Kisi ki shaadi ke liye? (to herself) oh babaji...kahin meri shaadi to nahi...na baba na!! Mammmaaaa!! mujhe abhi shaadi nahi karni...mammaa kahaan ho aap ?? rano rushed in to see if her daughter needed anything... Geet shook her up with almost tears in her eyes Mamma mujhe shaadi nahi karni... Abhi to main padhai kar rahi hoon na..na baba na!! Abhi nahi mamma...aap to shaggun leke jaa rahe ho...mujhe nahi karni nahi karni...nahi karni bas!! mammma aap chup kyun ho? mujhe shaadi nahi karni bas...😡
rano bursts into laughter..Geet is greater annoyed for this...(whispers) dekhiye babaji...yahaan meri shaadi ki jaa rahi hai...main ro rahi hoon...aur inhe hansi aa rahi hai...badi zaalim hai...babaji mujhe shaadi nahi karni please!
meri jhalli, sahi kaha daarji ne tu jhalli ki jhalli hi rahegi...yeh sab teri nahi Karan ki shaadi ke liye hai...uski shaadi ho rahi hai na Arohi se...wahi to tujhe kal batana chahti thi pur tu to tu hai...shuru ho gayii bolne... hume na shaam ko nikalna hai Ludhiana ke liye ... tu bhi packing kar le apni!!! Geet sticks out her tongue and hugs her mother... her mother leaves still lost inecstasies of mirth. sorry babaji ...bekaar hi aapko pareshan kiya..sorry sorry!!
Geet haves her breakfast and moves to her room to pack her luggage. Karan was hers and one time Maan's(till his family was here) very good friend...Maan...again... whatever she thought of her past Maan was always there. Tears came in her eyes. She wiped them and continued with her packing...Karan her senior( 4 years elder) in her school...was a family friend ..although he was elder..still he was more attached to Geet and Maan than his fellowmates... When he left for his further studies Geet thought that someone had dropped a sword on her heart...first Maan and then Karan...poor Geet!!
Geet beta, yeh le kuch lehenge banwaye the tere liye..rakh le...shaadi mein pehen lena...
Geet was delighted to see the attire- Mamma main to rich ho gayii...very sundar...thank you...Geet kissed rano...Rano left smiling! Oye Balle Balle...Ohh Shava Shava.....Oh Balle Balle...Ohh Shava Shava...!!!!!!!!...Daarji enters Geet's room without letting Geet's notice and is very startled to see Geet dancing over the bed...Geet puttar! Geet looks to see daarji staring at her...almost immediately Geet jumps of the bed and takes her dupatta and takes his blessings Geet puttar! Dar mat..achcha laga tujhe khush dekh ke...tere bina yeh ghar aur kamra kaatne ko daudta hai..Aaj is kamre mein nayii raunaq aa gayii!!
Ji daarji...mujhe bhi aap sab ki bahut yaad aati hai...man karta hai turant yahaan aa jaon apke paas... hugs him tightly.Daarji realizes tears rolling down Geet's cheeks.. He wipes them off. Geet beta, aap ko Karan ki shaadi ke baare mein pata chala? Tu chalegi na!??? Ji bilkul daarji...chaloongi naa!! Karan mere itne achche dost the unki shaadi mein to naa jaane ka koi sawaal hi nahi uthta! ... Kab chalna hai?...Bas beta kuch hi der mein chalte hai...tujhe bula lenge..Abhi tu aaraam kar le...jab tak yahaan hai khoob aaraam kar...phir waapas jaake to padhna hi hai tujhe... Ji Daarji
Geet is lying in the bed thinking of Karan...She pulls out to see Karan's photo he posted her when she was in BHU along with Arohi's
Dono kitne sweet lagte hain saath mein...hai main to marjaanva Karan...kitna dashing ho gaya hai...Hai Arohi bhi kitni changi hai...Rab ne bana di jodi...na na babaji ne bana di jodi! (giggles) Dekho Karan yahaan se gaya pur abhi bhi apni contact karta hai...aur woh lallu Maan... bilkul gadha hai..Idiot! fool! Milega na to saara hisaab loongi...
She sleeps for 4 long hours... At 4:00 in the afternoon rano wakes her up to give her lunch Beta tu time pe kuch kyun nahi karti? Geet smiles..................................

Maan cuts the call. Still furious about leaving work for TWO WEEKs...that meant a lot for him. Not even once in these 4 years Geet had come in her mind.
