Well it depends on what the crime is. For dev I think that he should be punished for what he did. He not only destroyed geet's life but also destroyed her relationships with her family and he is still doing that unintentionally. And we should keep in mind that this is a tv show. In real life all girls aern't geet and after an incident like this they probably dont find their maan either so forgiveness shouldnt be given to dev.

Yes I guess it depends on the person as well but I know someone who gave forgiveness to their husband for cheating and leaving her and her children for 7 years and came back. You know what he did after that?
First 4 months he was okay next he went back to the person he cheated on his wife for and then he came back(got forgiveness again) and left again and then he left the other female and came back to his wife. Guess what happened next?
He cheated on her for another women and planned on taking all her property and running away with that female.😡 He was caught and she forgave him again and now he is living with her who knows what he might come up with now😲

So I do agree with you that forgiveness should be given but only to an extent.
