My thoughts on today's episode. (03/17/11)
Well with the article out about Geet being upset and leaving Maan and all that.. I was little dreading today's episode in the sense that it would be another roller coaster ride of emotions but thank God that CVs smoothed it out and made it kind of very encouraging and endearing episode.
Well Dev did not mean any harm or interference but knowing his brother's harsh nature he thought he would just help Maan to understand the delicacy of the moment and assist him in this emotional situation. So he does not like how Maan emptied the room and goes and talks with Maan but Maan is no mood to listen. Well he calls dadima, Dadima listens to him and may be believe that he could be right but she is the wise one and knowing Maan she tells him to be out of his personal affair and let him handle in his own way.... So now Dev knows that he has to keep quite and watch.
Dadima brings Geet home asks her to sit with her but Geet had the excuse ready that she needs rest and goes upstairs directly to baby's room. Dadima also knew it but does not force her. Geet enters and sees the room empty totally vacant not a trace of baby's stuff.. She looks around and screams for Maan. Though Maan knew it was going to happen that way he was ready for the confrontation but still dreading it. He encounters Dadima.. both exchange the look of understanding and He softly enters the room his body language and eyes are alert for any consequences....
Geet almost screams his name twice.... She needed answers.... who could have done this? In her heart she knows that no one can to this bold act except Maan but she needed the answers and she calls him. He comes in.. looks at the stricken expressions of Geet.. It hurts him to look at her that way and also that he was the cause of that pain. But he is a straight forward guy and comes out with the truth right away telling her that he has shifted all the baby's stuff to the storeroom because she has made the memories as her pain and he cannot see her in pain. She gets upset and runs out telling that now he has problem with baby's memories too??
He stands there for a moment digesting and taking in what she said. He is hurt but he drinks his hurt as he knows that her hurt is more and he needs to take care of that. Stepping outside he encounters Dadima and Dev. Dadima does not say a word because she understands him. She only communicated her concern with her eyes. Maan tells her with his eyes that this was inevitable and they both understands each other.. But Dev is more worried he wants to resolve the problem for his brother. He steps in front and wanted to prove his point about Geet being more upset. Maan knows he is right in some extent but he does not have any patient with him. Before Dev could give any more suggestions' Maan cuts him in middle telling him that Geet is his wife and loves him and she has all the rights to be upset with him. And as he has told earlier also that he does not need any interference in his affair. He tells him that Geet may be upset with him but he knows how to appease Geet.... so back off.... saying angrily he leaves room putting Dev in his place. Dadima tell him not to feel bad about it. She knows that he only meant well but Maan does not know it and it is better to stay away from Maaneet. Dev understands totally.
Confrontation of Maaneet was done very nicely. Maan is trying to make Geet understand that the reason he removed the stuff because Geet has made the loss of her baby her pain and he simply cannot see her in pain. He bagged her to understand him that it is not the memories he is removing just the things. The memories of the baby are ever with them. Geet says that the baby was his life.... Maan also understands but still makes it point for Geet to understand that baby is no more between them and it is gone and so she has to accept that and move on.. It is very hard for mom.
At night Maan tries to talk with Geet again but she tries to close him out. Once again Maan makes his point to make her understand and sits on the bed with the doll and touching his ears asks for forgiveness. It was such a sweet gesture which unconditionally touches Geet's heart. Geet looks at him and understands his love in that but her hurt is still heavy on her so she does not say a word but at least comes back to bed and sleeps turning her back on Maan as if still clinging to the memories of the baby and hurt. Maan looks at her sleeping form but lets her be alone but feels little bit revealed that she did not completely close him out and came to bed. His tasks to appease her was difficult but he was able to break the wall and that was good for him.
Morning Geet gets up and looks at Maan's side founds it empty and starts looking for him. It was great to see that the absence of Maan caught her attention. She wonders as why Maan went to office so early and then finds the letter asking the forgiveness for removing baby's stuff as he did not know that it would hurt her so much. A tiny smile comes on Geet's face with the note and she says she is not upset with him but that he would try to take the stuff.. but the bottom line is that Geet is almost on the verge of being out of her grief..
Maan is busy at the side with couple of people.... Loved the way they put the board of Khurana's construction on the site declaring that KC's are working on the plot. Loved Maan being back in the business....
Loved the way he thought to make his own babies with Geet so that his Geet can get the baby.. Loved the way his eyes sparkled with the thought and he wanted to surprise Geet with some kind of Gifts. Well I did think that it was high time for Maan to make his own babies with Geet. So MSK is ready for that.... Hmmm Well for that He needs to bring Geet out of her sorrows and have that long awaited SR.... The thought seems to be good only to see how Geet reacts with that. So he needs to be very patient and caring and would love to see those moments....
Annie and Arjun track is becoming interesting.... Nitya is falling in Sangram's game. It was funny to see Sangram calling her Anwesha like Arjun did. Well the game of Sangrama and Nitya will definitely bring Annie and Arjun closer. I do want them to be closer as I really like Arjun but at the same time he needs to be out of his misconception about his sister
That's for today folks.... Hope to see something good tomorrow.. Well at least we have that sizzling dance with tip tip barsa pani in Holi Maha Episode....
