Our mind is also like a recording device that keeps repeating whatever we have been thinking n doing. So if it is filled with some prayers, bhajans or mantras for a while, then the same will accompany us and keep repeating automatically. The vibrations can be pretty strong in moments if silence.
Excessive eating does affect us and makes it more difficult to get the right feeling, apart from falling asleep.
