I like the way she carried herself in that interview. The interviewer kept taking these weird little digs but Kat just kept on and didn't let him drag her down.
Her accent seems quite Americanized to me--she says "computer" the way I'm used to hearing it said---but she has added the odd Indian clip to her speech at times. Wonder if that's original or something that she picked up over the years she's lived in India.
I'd have to hear her sister speak to judge on that score though.
The odd thing is that I like Kat, or at least I understand her persona better since she's a Western girl like me, so the distant guardedness isn't there which makes her come across as more natural, open and willing to be friendly.
I just have a hard time with the "whitewashing" of the Indian female ideal that she represents.
