What struck me was Maan's attachment to the child. As long as he was around, the baby was safe. When Geet prayed in Golden Temple to her Babaji to guide her whether to keep the baby or not, she saw a mother and child together and Maan crossed the place indicating that he will be her saviour and she should keep the baby. She did and as long as Maan was there the baby was safe. Initially when he was saving her he did not know that she was pregnant. But even after he came to know of the baby and was angry with her for he thought she was playing with his feelings, he still sprung to save the baby by eating all the papaya himself.  It is sad that the one occasion he wasn't around when she needed him, that they lost the baby.  GC was excellent in portraying his helplessness in yesterday's episode.
