The Billionaire's Joker Act (9 March 2011)
Set against a prologue that foretells of a faternal envy tale,
The billionaire, at his pregnant wife, for her carelessness did rail.
To put back a smile on his face, she spun an old-wives' yarn,
About how the baby is always with its parents' disposition born.
Off went the billionaire to seek his Grandma's sage opinion,
And, for the first time, asked her about his father's disposition.
Confirmed the yarn, his Grandma who had been hitherto imperious,
And told the billionaire that his sire had always been very serious.
The swift upturn of his lips into a smile surely deserved a moniker,
This change, from his wife, duly earned him the sobriquet of a joker
Likening her to a fat candle, he wanted her to in his arms melt,
Oh, the blind billionaire, can't he see his wife's figure so svelte?
The prologue he'd take forward, some more, on the morrow,
When he'd tell his brother the cause of his job-hunting sorrow.
The Billionaire's Paternal Fears (10 March 2011)
Precious to him were his Grandma's sentiments, the billionaire told his brother,
And, with offered him a job in a far-off family estate to save his family honour.
At noon that day, she reminded him of the yarn and brought back his smile,
For she knew him so well, the billionaire's temperament, not just his style.
Towards a fellow father-to-be employee, turned the billionaire benevolent,
He learnt that yoga for expectant parents was a good practice that was prevalent,
In a trice, the doting father-to-be enrolled himself and his wife at a yoga class,
Citing as the reason the need to control his temper and his wife's increased mass.
There, the billionaire yet again claimed their beloved baby as his own,
He staked claim, though the baby wasn't flesh of his flesh or bone of his bone.
When asked to share his thoughts, this first-time father-to-be immediately declined,
For, to publicly express his feelings, this reclusive billionaire had never been inclined.
"Will The Maan Singh Khurana not talk of his baby?", his wife innocently sought.
She knew only too well that in their baby's net could this great man be easily caught.
For their baby, he confessed his anticipation, his love, his hopes, his paternal fears,
And with that moving public declaration, the billionaire moved his pregnant wife to tears.
The Billionaire's Dream Castle (11 March 2011)
Dreaming of a threesome are the billionaire and his lady,
Building a dream castle, are they, for their baby already.
Listening and lip-syncing to a melodious song from yore,
Awaiting the moment when their baby would come to the fore.
As the clock chimed the hour of one, she awoke and sat upright.
Then, with a nudge, she disturbed his peaceful slumber of the night.
"Won't you get your baby the spicy and tangy food it so does crave?"
'Twas enough to melt the billionaire who was already their baby's slave.
Then came the call requiring elsewhere the billionaire's presence,
To which, the lady did give her smiling, gracious acquiescence.
That her billionaire was in danger, she heard over that fatal, ill-timed call,
Alarmed, she rushed down, only to herself meet with a very grievous fall.
Consuming by concern for the well-being of her man and their bairn,
For her man, for him alone, she cried out amidst the excruciating pain.
Would the dream castle the billionaire and his lady built now be no more?
Time will tell -- was their castle founded on solid ground or on the sea shore?
The Billionaire's Baby's Requiem (12 March 2011)
So, their dream castle had been founded on the sea-shore,
So tells the tragic end; their little baby now breathes no more.
Today, was played the prelude to the billionaire's baby's requiem,
Their sorrow they cannot word, so their expressions play a medium.
