I agree with your note...India still has a long way to go when it comes to women to fight for their rights. Many of us are educated but still shy away from any sort of confrontations. I am a lawyer myself...travel in bus...and if I encounter any unpleasantness my first reaction will be to ignore, second to move away. Its not that I can't fight back....if things come to that...i will. But I...and many of us...will first and foremost try to avoid fighting of any sort. And expecting a girl to fight a situation as grave as this is very rare.
