I felt the tension and the intention of the episode quite deeply, and so I have to conclude that it was a good one.
There were a couple of things which I found wrong, let us get those out of the way-
They should have all realised that a snake bite from a cobra is a serious risk and immediately tried to go to the hospital, instead of relaxing because they were more concerned with the emotional crisis. It was toooo Ganwar of them to think that just because the poison is out, they don't BOTH require anti-venom!!
But all of them were so relieved to have found Krishna and got him to go back with them that they just did not realize how much in danger they were. But then we as viewers have the benefit of being fore-informed. We knew that the hospital track was coming up so we knew that the should not relax. Sometimes it is not a good thing to know too much in advance. It makes you impatient with what is really happening on screen. We tend to forget that the characters don't know their own futures! π
Another small quibble; I really like the song and its great appropriateness, but I wish they have had the whole song in the background instead of having T&C lip-sync. Coming after a taut scene it was out of place.
Coming to the parts I liked-
I don't know why people are objecting to K &P's expressions! I thought they were perfect. Krishna is physically and psychologically exhausted and he has energy only for the most essential. Plus the snake biting Prats gave him an additional scare which he was trying to recover from. Now baba is hardly the sort of man to take to great emotional speeches or a big shoo-shaa when he is deeply moved. We know that he raises a storm like a brat for all small things but in really grave matters he is the strong silent type. I love this depth about him. It contrasts beautifully with his other childlike self. In fact knowing that he has both these faces makes him more attractive. I mean if he was to remain a depth-less one-liner master for ever in all situation it would make his character most uni-dimensional, IMO.
Prats too did and said all the right things. Her desperation to find Krishna was good, her asking him to come home, (punish her but not himself) was the right thing to say. It was not the time for declarations of undying love. She had the most wonderful expressions of love and loss during the jeep sequence.
She was feisty and strong and desperate during the hospital. she was guilt-stricken when she explained how Krishna came to this position. Bottom-line I though she was great.
SS and amma were great too.
Perhaps many in the forum are disappointed that there was no overt climax, with hugs and speeches and stuff. But I wish to suggest that the climax has been internal for both of them. Such a major event with both of them nearly dieing would have jolted them both to recognise their deepest feeling and acknowledge them. This is only a prophecy but I think Krishna's declaration of intent will come in the face of SS's bahishkar of Pratigya. The thakur's will find her responsible for his state but (I think) he will make it clear ke JEENA MARNA USKE SANG. Which will make SS reconsider his stand on Prats because he will realise that he might lose his son along with her. So Krishna will regain his old position of power within the Thakur household.
Prats is still going to have an uphill task of convincing Krishna of her love and to acknowledge herself an d convince him that there is no part of guilt in that love. But all this will be great to watch.
As for the rest, to any body who is ready to listen,π€ for the last time - the amnesia thing is a load of BS. Can we pleas stop killing ourselves about it!!π

He is so angry and hurt. I wonder how Pratigya will pacify him? will he belive her when she declares her love?.......though his love compelled him to save her, he is by no means ready to forgive her yet.........
