The young take over on television

They are young, talented and guess what...they are ruling the minds of the audiences through their characters. The days of saas-bahu and rona dhona are gone and with them the old rulers have gone. Now here are some young rulers who have also changed the face of television...

Duttabhau (Mishal Raheja)
The very charming and talented actor Mishal Raheja started his career with MTV and now he can be spotted acting in the first television venture of noted filmmaker Anurag Basu titled Love Story. He claims that each day is very different and resourceful for him and he considers himself very fortunate to work with such great people like the director himself. Here he plays Duttabhau who is a gangster and knows only violence. He doesn't believe in the existence of love. And for the first time, our lead actress Nakusha loves this gangster.

strangely most of the women listed there indulge in lots of rona-dhona whether its lali, akshara, archana or ichcha.

They should have listed Mahi Vij as well. LTL is primarily different because of the strong character portrayed by Nakku (she does not believe in rona dhona and kitchen politics).  She had ample opportunties to get tangled with Kala but she refused to engage in any battle but when the need came she was bold and stood up to what she thought strongly.  After the helicopter crash she made everyone think logically.  I am so sick of all the rona dhona and all the zulm that other shows pratogonist have to endure.  Stopped watching all those shows.

I think newer protagonists like naku, Pratigya, Suhana and Geet should have been included in the list instead of regressive character like Akshara or Ichcha who try at the drop of the hat and sit and wait for everyone else to manipulate them.
