Mala vidya kadun ase samajaley ..ki hi malika Taslima Nasarin chya Lajja hya kadmbarivar aadharit aahe.
Mi Lajja kadambari khup varshanpurvi vachaleli aahe. Itki sundar kadambari aahe ti. Haatat ghetli aani sodlich nahi sampestovar. Taslima hi muslim jagatatli saglyat dhadsi bai aahe jine itkya shurpane bangladesh cha vastav jagasamor aanala...Ticha kautuk karava tevdha thodach aahe!  Aani tya vishayavar hi katha based aahe he vachun mala farach anand zalay!!!!

Nina Kulkarni mala far avadate. Pan Lajja chya "Stri Mhanje Maya" valya promo madhe ajjibat avadli nahi.  Ani Girija Oak mala adhi mahiti navhati. Diste goad. Baghuya kashi acting karte.

sakhi Girija Oak chi acting khup changali ahe...she is a matured actress...tichi marathi movie ahe bagh..Manini...nice movie. ani Nina Kulkarni cha tar prashnach yet nahi...tila challenge nahi..

kharay...nina la tod nahi. great actress aahe ti... serials peksha pan naatakanmadhe mala jast bhavli aahe ti. rangbhumi var pratyaksh abhinay karat astanna tila pahane ha sundar anubhav asto ani mi to barechda ghetlay.

Girija Oak cha ha cinema pahayla hava. tu mhateys mhanje chhan asel. baghte net var sapadla tar...

Girija is a  fair actress ...nt tht great....bt would love to see the show ahead....

No doubt about Neena being a great actress infact AB madhe maa cha role tila ka dila nahi hyache mala ascharya vatate. Pan lajja chya promos madhe matra tine far motha tila kapalavar lavlya mule hi serial BL sarkhi hou naye evadhich icchha. Kitihi zale tari AB hi ek sensitive ani mature topic var suru zali hoti ani ti far tanli nasti tar ek surekh serial zali asti. Tyach jagevar Lajja yetey tar tevadha respect Lajja ne maintain tari karava ashi asha balguya....all the best to this serial.

mala vatate ki bangla deshi kadambari lajja he fakt navatle samya asu shakel....i may be wrong...but still i dont think other than name similarity there's anything else.

You are right!! I feel the same after watching the newest promo.

Storyline looks completely Indian- specifically Hindu culturally based.

Lajja has complete Bangladesi-Muslim essence. This particular story is not replaceable in another cultural surroundings.

But as Vidya said that this info she has obtained from Mithila... It might be possible. We cannot tell.
Yeah, and promos of this serial are really bad... as somebody has said in MPPK thread, we were highly curious to watch MPPK. Lajja is unsuccessful in creating that effect in spite of having best cast like Neena Kulkarni in the promos.

I think Mithilaji had expressed just a possibility because of name-similarity. She wasn't sure.
