This Show is so Unrealistic

Gone are the days when daughter in laws are expected to be like Sita. In Sita's days father in law's like dasarath and mother in law like kaushalya existed.

i agree. and get rid of sister-in-laws like kanika and shelly.

She doesnt even have to get rid of them, just get a job, make some money and LEAVE.

I think Abha's character should've been smarter than what creatives are showing us now. How come she was so smart in the beginning when she was trying to get their SB recognised as National heritage building in order to stop the auction?

Yes, it has become very unrealistic lately.

Most of our serials show a lot of backward thinking. I mean, if Jaggu is treating his DIL like this, why are they staying in that house; they should move out. Especially since she has Karan as her husband who loves her and wouldn't mind moving out so his wife doesn't get insulted everyday. Abha shouldn't let Jaggu, Shelly, Kanika to treat her the way they do. What makes them superior?? What is people like Jaggu never change the way they think, so Abha will spend the rest of her life trying to please her FIL and not pay attention to the fact that she has a husband also?

Very rightly said .. to continue further and answer your question: "will spend the rest of her life trying to please her FIL" ...
No, no, it will not continue to happen to the rest of her life. Next jaggu will have either a heart attack or a paralytic attack .. something doesn't matter ... he will have to be in bed rest and Abha being the dutiful DIL will take of Jaggu day and night forgetting to eat, sleep and drink for herself .. ... earlier, before her marriage, she had washed car, and swept the swarna-bhavan .. now since she is DIL .. she has to take a step above and probably give him bath and clean his excreta (I'm trying to be polite here) etc ... and then Jaggu will realize what a GREAT DIL he has and he will give her maafi .. (forgive) .. then Shailey bhabhi will not like Jaggu liking Abha ..and she will start making Abha's life even more miserable until she has a fall .. and yes, she will also become bed-ridden .. and the cycle continues till all of the family members need to be cured with the help of  Swarna-Abha 😡
