Problem with children watching domestic violence is that we never know how it will impact them down the road years later. Images we see stay in our brain for 20 years (a scientifc fact), so there is a big risk of letting young children take in images that are not necessary at a very young age when they cannot cognitively comprehend adult content.  We always teach children to setlle matters cordially by talking to each other and not use physical outlets even as toddlers.  Such images also impact children differently based on their genders.
