Prithvi signaled her to come with him and she obliged, side by side they walked through the corridor to a room. Another surprise waited inside. The room was also kept tidily in the same manner, with a photo of a child with his parents that she assumed to be him decorated inside a golden frame. Everything stayed in peace at its place and the room was well organized to give more space in it and at the same time not looking that the things were cramped.

Damini sat down in front of the dressing table kept there and began removing her jewelry. Prithvi excused himself for a shower and soon came out back. They looked at each other for a moment and smiled slightly, Prithvi then got into his side of bed and dozed off or at least tried to. And soon Damini too switched off the lights and got into her side of the bed.

That night sleep evaded both of them, none able to think clearly due to the rush of the past few days.

Prithvi was a handsome and muscular guy but at the same time he was focused and straightforward too. He could be called one of the few brawns with brains, at the age of 26 he was well a settled software engineer with more than enough income and sustainable needs. He stayed alone in Mumbai while his family stayed Manali. He had moved here 3 years ago to clear the debts that his family was facing. Mumbai had shown him it's both bright and dark side simultaneously. On the bus stand itself some goons had tried to rob him and he had to beat them black and blue. But at the time he had got a job in the very first interview not because of his merits but because his boss was a good person at heart and wanted a reliable employee. And now the situation was that his boss had to order him to go home and rest, his company had become his third home now and the colleagues his family.

He had never believed in love but he wasn't even against marriage too. All he had wanted that the girl he would marry wouldn't destroy the peace and placidity in his life. He had never expected that he would have married the most stubborn girl on the planet. Damini was just impossible that's what he knew or as he had seen her like that way. He hadn't ever thought of his marriage with her but due to their parent's pressure he had to. But during this marriage time he had also seen her soft side the special side that was only for the people she loved.

Damini also twisted in her sleep, how could she had ever thought of marriage with him when she had first met him the thought crossed her mind as she tried to close her eyes but couldn't. But her image of him being an arrogant, proud, and unreliable person was almost shattered every time she had thought about him that way. He was sure a workaholic and a strong personality but at the same time he could go to any extent to bring a smile on his parent's faces.

Like she would, the thought came out of nowhere in her mind and also gave a smile on her face. They were alike in many ways and both showed respect towards each other. Prithvi was a guy with a good set of values that he carried with him everywhere. And just like her he too feared to be cheated and hence ended up being headstrong and annoying at sometimes too. But the recent days had told her that she would never regret the decision of marrying the headstrong, annoying and self respected guy.

And so both of them spent the night twisting and turning but taking all possible care not to wake up the other.
