Very good episode!
Inder and Ranu and having breakfast and conversing with each other in their typical silly, irritating way. Ranu again pesters Inder about them going to Khandala (Phew!) and Inder manages to control his growing irritation & temper to tell Ranu that he is tied up with his work and is in no mood to go to Khandala or Kanpur, whatever! Ranu then makes silly, contorted faces and tells Inder that its ok if they are not able to go to Khandala as long as he is able to take out some time for her at home itself. Inder does not bother to reply to this. Inder then tells Ranu that even after putting so much pressure on Disha, she still refuses to join the Bhosale Office and that she should realize the fact that its her Father's business and she should take interest in it. Inder says that he doesn't trust either Vedant for Anil at all and unless Disha joins the Office, those two will do as they fit and ruin the Company. Ranu tries to explain to Fobby that its not possible for Disha to join the Bhosale business as she is very tied up with the Kanaka Empire. Fobby is very annoyed and tells Ranu that he cannot understand Disha at all and what is she upto, since on one hand she is fighting a case against DK and on the other hand helping him out with his business. Ranu is exasperated and tells Inder that all said and done, DK is Disha's husband and she is just fulfilling her wifely duties by helping him out in the time of his crisis, the case is another matter. Inder gets a jealous look on his face and tells Ranu that Disha is a fool to help out the man who went all out to destroy Disha's life for good. Ranu does not know what to tell Inder and just concentrates on eating her Parantha!
In the next scene which made me so, so happy, we see Taj going and meeting DK in jail where both of them have a conversation (the entire scene was muted hence we could not hear what both of them were talking to each other). DK finally tells Taj that he has to do as instructed and that he is banking on Taj for the same. Taj promises DK that things will be done as per his instructions now and that DK won't remain in jail for many days. As Taj leaves the jail, he resolves in his mind that he will make Gargi pay for her slap very heavily and that now Gargi has better watch out, since his loyalties have shifted again to DK.
In another scene, some Mr. Verma (one of DK's employees) is getting some cheques signed by Disha and as she keeps signing them one after another, she halts on one cheque and looks at it with surprise. She asks Mr. Verma, who is Sumitra Sehgal and why is a cheque going to her. Mr. Verma looks absolutely mortified and is not able to say much, all he says is that a cheque has been going to the Mental Asylum in Sumitra Sehgal's name for the past 15 years & that Mr. DK Sehgal signs them every month. Disha is now very curious and insists on Mr. Verma telling her the identity of Sumitra Sehgal. She assures Mr. Verma that she will never let DK come to know of the truth, then to the shock of Disha, Mr. Verma says that Sumitra Sehgal is DK's mother and that she has been in a mental asylum for the past 15 years. Disha is unable to react for sometime and then gets a strange look on her face and takes the cheque in her hand and tells Mr. Verma to leave the cheque with her.
In the next scene at the Bhosale house, Aunty Sukanya and Uncle Anil are busy planning a Birthday Bash for Cousin Gautam. As Sukanya animatedly discusses with Anil about the grand party plans, Anil gets a serious look on his face to which Sukanya asks him the reason. Anil says that he is afraid that they have put too much trust on Vedant, whom they hardly know. Sukanya is least bothered and tells Anil that they can discuss this later and now they should just concentrate on the Birthday Party. As they are busy discussing the plans, Gautam drops in (looking really cute as usual!) and asks them what party are they talking about. Sukanya happily prattles to Gautam that they are planning to throw a huge bash on his Birthday and that they will invite all the topshots of Mumbai for the same. Gautam looks disgusted with his mother and tells her in no certain terms that he is not interested in any party and that definitely not when things are so bad in the family and business. Sukanya and Anil are shocked and tells Gautam that they are doing all this for his happiness to which Gautam replies back curtly that they can cut back all plans as he most definitely won't be coming to the party, especially if Suhas, Disha, Inder and Ranu are not invited, which he is sure that Sukanya won't invite. Sukanya tries to explain to Gautam that Disha won't be able to come anyway as she is so tied up with her case and her business and similarly Ranu will also not be able to attend, to which Gautam says that if they want him to attend the party, they have to make sure that Disha, Ranu and Inder have to come for the Party. Suhas also comes in and listens to the entire discussion and a righteous smile lights her face, Sukanya looks at Suhas with a vile expression and when Gautam leaves the room after warning his parents, she tells Suhas that now she must be happy after creating a rift between them and their son to which Suhas says that she is happy that there is atleast someone left in this house who has his heart in the right place and also common sense to know his situation. Suhas walks away leaving a guilty and confused looking Anil and an outraged Sukanya.
In the next scene, Lady D is shown stepping out her Car in front of a Mental Asylum and looking at the building with trepidation and confusion. Disha is then shown with a Lady Doctor who tells her that for the past 15 years, no one was allowed to meet Sumitra Sehgal apart from DK who comes to visit his Mother regularly. The Doctor tells Disha that the only reason why she is allowing her to see Sumitra Sehgal is because she is DK's wife and also because for the past few days, Sumitra's condition is getting much better and she seems to get her memory back slowly. Disha is surprised to hear this and tells the Doctor that she wants to see Sumitra's file after she has met her. The Doctor takes her to a separate room where an old, haggard looking woman dressed in a Blue Night dress is lying listlessly on a chair with her eyes closed. As soon as Disha looks at the image of DK's mother lying lifelessly, her eyes instantly gets moist and she keeps staring at the lady. The Doctor tells Disha that for the past 15 years, Sumitra Sehgal has been in a semi-comatose condition and that she has lost all memory and does not react to anyone, not even to her own son. Disha is unable to say anything and goes near Sumitra and lovingly touches her forehead and in a fantabulous scene, she leans herself and tenderly kisses Sumitra on her forehead as her teardrops falls on Sumitra's cheeks. As Disha withdraws herself from Sumitra, she bends and touches Sumitra's feet and goes back. As she leaves the asylum, she tells the Doctor that she will come tomorrow to collect Sumitra's file and that she should keep her posted on Sumitra's progress. Disha is shown to be very disturbed as she drives back from the Hospital.
In the next scene which was again really good and I just loved DK in it (actually there are very few scenes in which I do not love DK!) Disha is shown visiting DK in the jail and as he looks at her coming towards his lock-up, she is smiling pleasantly as if she has found out a secret and DK also returns her smile.
DK – (With an amused look on his face) Kya baat hai Disha, bada muskura rahi ho. Kya Court ne mere Phaasi ka Order de diya hai, jot um aaj itna kush dikh rahi ho.
Disha – (With an equally amused look on her face) Thoda Dheeraj rakho DK, who bhi aajayega. Magar aaj joh raaz mujhe pata chala hai, who toh tumhare pao tale zameen hila dega.
DK – (Is unmoved and speaks in the same playful, sarcastic yet flirtish tone) Bhai aisa kya pata laga gaya tumhe mere bare main, zare hame bhi toh batao.
Disha – (Gets a ''Got you there'' type of look in her eyes) Kehte hai, ko insaan kitna bhi takatwar kyon na ho, use yeh nahin bhoolna chaihey ki who aakhir mitti ka bana hua hai aur ek din usi mitti main jaa kar mil jaayega….chahe who insaan DK Sehgal hi kyon na ho, uski bhi toh koi kamzori ho sakti hai, jo shayad uske sabse bade dushman ke haat lag gayi ho.
DK – (Keeps looking at Disha with a curious but smiling expression as if trying to gage what she is upto this time) Meri koi kamzori nahin hai Disha, DK Sehgal ko kamzor logo se aur kamzorion se nafrat hai.
Disha – (Now gets a steely look in her eyes and hold the bars with force and looks at DK straight in his eyes) Accha, toh tum apni Maa ko kya kahoge DK? Apni Taakat ya apni Kamzori? Main aaj unse milkar aai hoon, Hospital main.
DK – (Looks mortified and the Camera focuses on his eyes which have a staggered look as he keeps staring back at Disha with an unbelieving expression on his face and then speaks in a tight, painful voice) Tum meri Maa se milne kyon gayi this, kisne diya yeh haq tumhai Disha.
Disha – (Gets a real time cruel look in her eyes) Ab mera badla poora hoga DK. Inth ka jawab Inth se, aur Patthar ka jawab Patthar se. Jaise tumnain mera Baba ko mara, ab main apna badla tumhari Maa ki jaan se loongi.
DK – (Looks terror sticken and pleads with Disha) Please Disha, meri Maa ko kuch mat karma. Woh bechari toh waise hi ek zinda laash ki tarah jee rahi hai, please unhe kuch mat karma, unhe kuch ho gaya toh main mar jaaonga.
Disha – (Keeps staring at DK and gets a hurt look in her eyes and speaks to herself) Tumhari nazaron main mere rishtoh ki koi jagah nahin hain DK. Mere Baba ko marate hue tumnain yeh nahin socha ki main phir se anat ho jaaongi, magar ab jab tumhari Maa par aach aane ki baat uthi, toh tumhari rooh bhi kaamp uthi. Yahi toh faraq hain tumhare aur mere beech, tumnain mere har risthey ko apni zid aur ghamad ke saamne kuchal diya, magar main tumhare kisi bhi rishtey ko aach bhi nahin aane doongi DK. Main Maaji ko kuch naihin karoongi magar yeh baat tumhe bhi nahin baatogoing. Jalte raho is dard aur dar main ke main tumhari maa ka nooksaan kar doongi. Waise hi tadpo jaise tumnain mujhe tadpaya hai. {All this goes on in Disha's mind while DK is still horrified and keeps pleading and warning Disha at the same time not to harm his Mother.
Disha just gives a cold, hard stare at DK and leaves him there, while DK keeps begging to Disha and shouts that, ''Meri Maa ko kuch mata karma Disha, apni badle ki aag main unko mat jalo. Please Disha.''
TRANSLATION : DISHA GOES TO MEET DK IN JAIL WHO IS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO SEE HER VISITING HIM AND THAT TOO IN A GOOD MOOD. HE ASKS HER SARCASTICALLY IF THE COURT HAS ORDERED DK TO BE HANGED AND IS THAT WHY DISHA IS IN SUCH A JOLLY MOOD, TO WHICH DISHA REPLIES BACK THAT THE DAY WILL SOON COME BUT AS OF NOW SHE HAS COME TO KNOW OF A DEEP SECRET WHICH PROBABLY DK NEVER WANTED ANYONE TO COME TO KNOW OF, CERTAINLY NOT HIS BIGGEST ENEMEY. DISHA THEN SAYS THAT EVERY HUMAN IS MADE OF MUD AND THAT HE SHOULD NEVER FORGET THE FACT THAT ONE DAY HE WILL PERSISH IN THE SAME EARTH AND THAT EVERY MAN, HOWEVER STRONG, IS PERISHABLE AND THAT EVERY PERSON HAS A WEAKNESS WHICH IS HIS ACHILLES HEAL. DK ASKS HER WHAT IS SHE PRATTLING ABOUT, TO WHICH DISHA SAYS THAT SHE HAD MET HIS MOTHER TODAY IN THE MENTAL ASYLUM. DK IS SHOCKED AND IS VERY UPSET WITH DISHA AND ASKS HER WHAT ON EARTH WAS SHE DOING THERE AND WHY DID SHE GO AND MEET HIS MOTHER. DISHA TELLS DK THAT NOW HER REVENGE WILL BE COMPLETE AND THAT DK WILL NOW GET A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH AND AN EYE FOR AN EY AS SHE WILL HARM HIS MOTHER IN THE SAME WAY AS HE HARMED HER FATHER AND MADE HER AN ORPHAN. DK KEEPS BEGGING AND PLEADING IN FRONT OF DISHA NOT TO HARM HIS MOTHER AS SHE IS ALEADY LIVING LIKE A CORPSE FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS AND THAT SHE IS COMPLETELY HELPLESS. DISHA THEN THINKS TO HERSELF THAT DK NEVER CARED FOR HER RELATIONS AND DESTROYED ALL HER HAPPINESS FOR FULFILLING HIS DESIRE TO DESTROY HER, AND NOW THAT HIS MOTHER'S LIFE HAS BEEN THREATNED, HIS SOUL IS SHAKING TOO. DISHA THINKS TO HERSELF THAT HERE LIES THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DK AND DISHA AND THAT EVEN THOUGH DK NEVER CARED FOR DISHA'S HAPPINESS, DISHA UNLIKE HIM WILL NEVER HARM ANY OF DK'S RELATIONS, CERTAINLY NOT HIS MOTHER BUT AT THE SAME TIME WILL NOT LET DK KNOW OF HER TRUE INTENTIONS. DISHA RESOLVES THAT DK SHOULD ALSO BURN IN THE SAME FIRE OF ANGUISH AS SHE DID WHEN SHE LOST BOTH HER FATHERS. DK TRIES TO EXPLAIN THAT HE WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATH OF EITHER VIJENDRA OR DEV AND THAT DISHA SHOULD NOT CRUCIFY HIS MOTHER IN THE QUEST OF HER REVENGE WITH DK.
