Sakthi and Vai give the 1st inv card to Kannan but he refuses to take since he feels that he has no thaguty to receive it. He said 1st card must be given to someone who is more respectable. Sakti and Vai plead him to take and then he agrees to receive it. After that both left to Gayu place to give card. At Gayu place, they could not find her. One of the neighbor said that Gayu and her family had left the place since Gayu hubby and his father had some misunderstanding. Gayu hubby left his job and now looking for his father around. Gayu and and her child also keep following her husband in the search. Sometime they come back and leave without informing anyone. In fact they yet to collect back their house advance. Sakthi and Vai feel very bad that they couldn't find Gayu, but left a card to the neighbor to give to Gayu if she returns any day. In the auto, Sakti feels sad that neither Gayu nor Kannan able to attend the wedding. Vai also thinking….
Siva goes to meet someone to borrow some money for the wedding exp. The guy agrees to give the loan after Siva promised to settle monthly.
Vai called Sakti to company her to do purchasing for her wedding. She said Siva doesn't wanna join since it's not appropriate for a widow to buy thali. Sakti meet Vai at one of the shop. Sakti feels that's they should bring someone elder to company them to buy thali. Vai said she has arranged someone. Sakti is happy to see that someone is Kannan. Kannan reach there ask why they called him. They just drag him inside and shocked to find that shop owner is Vai future hubby. Vai reluctant to buy from there, thinking that her future hubby wont accept their payment, but he assure that he wont interfere in their suya maraiyathe and ask them to proceed. They went to Thali section and ask Kannan to choose a thali for Vai. Kannan gets shock and stand up. He scolds them to bring him to do that. He explains to them that he is one unlucky fellow and shouldnt do this. He tries to explain to both of them, but they are adamant. ( so cute this scene) After some pleading, finally Kannan agree to choose the thali. He chooses one, and Vai wants him to bless her since he wont be able to attend her wedding. At the same time, Vai future hubby also said that he will get blessing together as a couple from Kannan. Kanna is unexpected all this and feels very happy and doesn't know what to do. He blesses them….. very nice scene
