March 10th '09 Written Update
Naniji tells Mamiji that once Ragi has a baby, the Rajvanshs' will put her up on the pedestal since she will be giving them their waaris and then Sadi will have no say in anything there. Nani and Mami also talk abt Malti-Vinu having kids. Malti listens to all this and worries that if Ragi gets pregnant b4 her, then she will be ignored and all will pamper Ragi, and hopes that Ragvir won't start a family so soon. Malti calls Ragi pretending as if she is making a casual call and asks if she is pregnant. She is relieved when Ragi tells her that she and Ranvir don't plan to have a baby so soon. Vasu is upset that she is losing both her sons and comes to Alekh's room to try and talk to him. There Alekh is teaching Sadi how to play the harmonica when chotima comes in and praises him. He tells her that the person he missed most when he was lost was Sadi. Sadi is touched hearing that. Vasu listens to their conversation and comes in smiling… asking Alekh if he missed his badimaa. Alekh trembles in fear seeing her and remembers the bouquet of roses he saw on the trip. He moves closer to Sadi and screams for Vasu to leave. Sadi looks on confused while Vasu leaves disappointed. She goes to her room and breaks down into tears asking God to help her get Alekh back. Sadi and chotimaa calm him down and put him to sleep. At night when Malti is all set to go to sleep, she thinks abt how she needs to get pregnant b4 Ragi does and finds Vinu busy in his files. She tries to convince him that its time they have a baby and pretends that its only cuz she wants to fill maa-bauji's empty lives with lots of joy. Vinu finally gives in, but Malti is disappointed when he falls asleep as soon as he hits the bed. Next morning, Alekh wakes up and sits next to Sadi watching her sleep. She wakes up seeing him staring at her and feels shy when he tells her that she looks cute sleeping.
